Plum Cottage nestles within a country estate providing a tranquil base on the edge of the market town of Wimborne. A short stroll into Wimborne are numerous foodie delights in its cafes, pubs and fine restaurants. The weekend brings a popular market where you can find fresh local produce including a butchers, bakers, fishmonger, fruit stalls and cheese stands.
The nearest beaches are found at Bournemouth and Poole a half hour drive away. Poole Harbour has excellent sailing, whereas the surfers amongst you will be interested in the surf reef at Boscombe. A little further afield the Isle of Purbeck and stunning Jurassic coastline can be found.
