Hooks Barn is a recently converted ( Nov 2013 ) old cider barn on the very edge of the Forest of Dean. Situated in a quiet hamlet, just 4 miles out of the historic town of Ross On Wye. It has all home comforts and is a great base for visiting the area. Its a great place for a couple.

We are 4 miles south of Ross On Wye, in the Wye Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty. There are plenty of brilliant walks and other things to do in the area.
We are on the very edge of the Forest Of Dean - theres a boundary marker from 1832, two yards from the front door. You can walk out onto our country lane and within five minutes be walking through forest. The garden overlooks fields with horses in. We get badgers in the garden at night. Owls hoot, woodpeckers drill, donkeys bray.
