We live in a little village in a beautiful part of the French Pyrenees. Our home is comfortable, spacious and elegant, surrounded by wonderful countryside ideal for hiking and cycling. Indeed, the Tour de France usually passes beneath your bedroom windows. We are well situated on the Chemin de Saint Jacques with many other footpaths radiating from our front door. The river running through the village is well stocked with trout and we are more than happy to organize a fishing permit if you wish to catch your supper. We are offering a pretty room with guest bathroom and tea making facilities. When you rise we provide the perfect continental breakfast of coffee, croissants, toast and homemade jams, although if you prefer a more hearty hikers breakfast then that can be arranged. The bathroom is stocked with fluffy towels, slippers, shower gel and locally produced soap. We also offer a 'book swap shelf' so you can update your holiday reading.
Saint Lary is a small quiet village (unless the Tour de France is coming through). We are deep in the Vallée de Bellongue which is roughly translated as 'beautiful and long'. The Pyrenees mountains are all around and offer superb walking. Please note, we are not St Lary-Soulan.
