The apartment is ideally situated with a slightly elevated view of the pool. Outside the terrace extends to a beautiful patio and garden with striking flowers and greenery. There are private loungers for guests to use if you want to stay close to the fridge! The attractive main pool is only a few steps away from the patio and has shallow entrance with wide steps. Attached to the main pool is a splash/plunge pool with a relaxing waterfall feature. There is ample space for drying clothes & towels at the side / rear of the house.

This is quoted on many sites but it does give a flavour of what Datca is about.....As the famous historian Strabo once said 'If God wanted his servant to live longer he would leave them in Datca'.The Datca peninsula stretches approx. 80km and provides a natural boundary between the Aegean Sea, the Gulf of Gokova in the north and the Mediterranian Sea, the Gulf of Hisaronu to the South. The road from Marmaris down the peninsula to Datca is approx 75km and winds among the trees and hills with truly breathtaking views were the mountains meet the sea. Bring your camera!
There are many places to visit, the bus service runs regularly from Datca to Marmaris [approx 1 hour]. The Ferry to Bodrom takes around 1 hour 45 minutues with services running daily in high season.The apartment is situated next to the Marphe Hotel, an exquisite small hotel where you can enjoy light food if you do not want to venture very far, the pool and setting of this hotel is extremely pretty.Datca is heart-warmingly traditional and benefits from no mass tourism, no UK pubs, dream-like landscape and a wonderful climate with low humidity & a gentle breeze. The harbour has a sophisticated, cosmopolitan feel, Gullets and yachts sail the beautiful calm waters all summer long. You can privately hire a Gullet for the day where you can set off on an beautiful adventure, the captain will stop for swimming and coffee he will also cook you fresh fish for lunch!A must to visit is the ancient Greek city of Knidos, there is also a natural hot water spring in the centre of Datca.There are no shortage of beaches in and around Datca, a popular choice is Kargi Koya where you can eat, swim and swing in a hammock or relax on huge cushions all day long. A Dolmus runs from the road behind the complex straight to Kargi during high season.Datca also boasts an outdoor amphitheatre with varied entertainment throughout the summer months. There are a few late night bars and clubs in Datca the ones boasting late night music are quite discreet, but they are there!Car hire is optional but recommended if you want to explore, a phrase book is a must to embrace the culture.
