A UNIQUE, FAMILY OWNED AND MANAGED APARTMENT IN EDINBURGH CITY CENTRESleeps 5A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US AND OUR HOMEThank you for looking at The Rampart, our wonderful, family-owned and managed apartment and home in Edinburgh's City Centre. The Rampart is full of history and charm and we are certain you will enjoy your stay in our exciting garden property, under the Castle, at the very heart of Edinburgh. We love the location and charm of this fun apartment and stay here frequently when in Edinburgh. The Rampart, as we call her, has her quirks, such as traditional wood floors that wobble in places, and an old but very functional heating system. She isn't the Ritz, but she is a beautiful, much loved and very welcoming home that we cannot wait to share with you. Last year, we began a process of upgrading the house, without - we hope - loosing her comfortable and unique character. A new bathroom, with steel bath and electric shower give a great place to soak the day away. A new double bed makes for a great night's sleep, while much time in the garden at the end of last year makes us excited for the foliage of spring. We have many more exciting projects lined up.If you are looking for an exceptionally comfortable, phenomenally well located, surprisingly big, charmingly decorated, functional and reliable home, with an open fire and exceptional service - you have found your match! We can't wait to host you in Edinburgh and thank you kindly for looking.PRICES INCLUDE:Free high-speed wifi, Fresh bed linen & towels, Heating, hot water & electricity, Two sets of keys, A welcome pack, (tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk)WE WILL MEET YOU IN PERSON ON ARRIVAL:It means a lot to us to know that you have arrived safely.Simply let us know your arrival time and we our our wonderful housekeeper, Jan, will be only too glad to welcome you in person and answer any questions you have.MORE INFORMATION ABOUT OUR APARTMENT:The Rampart is a functional, exciting and exceptionally charming apartment that we love to call home.
