Appartment with a living room that gives to a terrace with a view to Cascais and Guincho beach (3kms away). The garden has an excellent full equipped barbecue and a garden where you can sunbathe or just relax.
The house is well located if you wish to surf or windsurf in Guincho beach (funtastic windsurf spot) but if you prefer calm sea you have excellent beaches in Cascais. Guincho also offers wonderful walks and you can go from the house to Guincho through the cliffs by the sea. There are also some nice fishing spots if that interests you.
The house is also located in the slopes of Serra de Sintra (Sintra mountains) and is a good starting point for mountain biking.
Cascais has a lot to offer - variety and quality - since going out at night to disco, Estoril Casino, boat short travels, sea sports, etc. Cascais is an old touristic fishing village, now with a certain “decadent” fashionable side.
The house is also close to Cabo da Roca – Roca Cape – the most western point of Europe, with some majestic cliffs ideal for taking some pictures. Cabo da Roca is halfway to Sintra, which is considered world heritage is the place to visit palaces, mourish castles, romantic pena palace, the village centre and offcourse, to try two divinal pastries that are excellent – queijadas and travesseiros da piriquita.
