The gite the Rosaire is a romantic house for couples in Saumur town. The cottage is very enlightened, modern and unique made on the outside of stone called the tuffeau.It is located in a residential traditional area 10 m to the Loire.It is 5 minutes walk from the wall to the Chateau de Saumur, the Saturday market, restaurants, bars, shops and boat trip on the Loire,in the center of the town. On ground floor, large living room with comfortable sofa bed , 2 modern leather cream armchairs and TV/DVD player follows a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, stove and oven, table and chairs for 4 people. 3 Doors window leads to a terrace rectangular of 10 m2. The terrace is equipped with a barbecue, table, chairs . The main bedroom, is accessible by a spiral staircase and leads a double room ,with comfortable mattress, pillows, anti-allergic quilts, and includes a corner shower / WC/sink. The central heating , sheet , internet via an Ethernet cable as well as a garage are included.

The Loire Valley has a very mild climate is very well known for its castles, the Cadre Noir famous teaching of horse manship antertain people with shows and galas around the world,museum from carving within the local stone « le tuffeau » to traditional old shops, engine , cars , ancient stencil art illumination dating of medieval time , war , soap museum, troglodytes caves,sand stone carve into the cliffs which have many fonctions such as :growing mushroom , aging wine, art galery, houses to live in , conserving apples after drying them in special oven made in the cave, worm farm for making silk , concerts and much more.Some traditional restaurants are insid troglodytes , they cook ;des Fouées which are little galets that are open in the middle and stuffed with loca products such as beans, mushrooms, goat cheese, jam etc... it is a very relax environment based on conviviality.the region is also known for its small Wind mills, some are now open for visits, and you can buy flour.The Loire valley has the pleasure to be known as the garden of France, you can find many markets , with local produce such as vegetables, fruits, flowers (Doué la Fontaine being the capital of the roses).>For People that prefares walking or cycling,there are more than 30 circuits for cycling or walking path sign posted around the area.The cycle trail called « la Loire à Vélo » passes outside our gite le Fenêt, you can follow the river Loire , or go along the vinyards, or go into beautiful villages and countriside.There are also villages proposing botanical theme paths , punctuated with informations .Many beautiful gardens are available, from traditional, like Terra Botanica , jardin de Valmer ,camifolia chemin de la rose (rose garden made in English style) etc... to oriental like (park oriental de Maulévrier).
