The Big Picture Apartments occupy a commanding position above the town centre, with perhaps some of the best views of the town, harbour and bay, and yet only a few minutes walk from the bustling main streets of St. Ives, with its galleries, restaurants and beaches. The photo shown here is actually taken from the apartment and many guests remark that when they arrive at our apartment, the view is even more breathtaking than they expected!
We have two apartments, a 4 bedroom apartment and this 2 bedroom apartment, both in the same building. The 2 bedroom apartment is very light and spacious and sleeps 4-5 adults plus a baby with the provision of a travel cot. Special rates for 2 people are available outside of School holidays so ask us for a price for weeks between September and May. Christmas and New Year breaks are available, from 5 to 7 nights, flexible arrival dates.
The apartment has been furnished in a modern and contemporary style, and has superb sea views from the lounge and main bedroom. It is fully equipped and has a colour TV with Freeview, DVD player, wi-fi, washing machine, microwave and hairdryer. The large kitchen/diner is well equipped and has a professional style gas hob and oven.
It has the benefit of off street parking for one car, a rarity in St. Ives! No smoking, no pets, but children welcome. (Full details on our website, see contact details)

Cornwall has long been one of the most popular holiday destinations in England., and in the last decade Cornwall has emerged as one of the world's iconic destinations. With dramatic coastlines, sheltered bays, beautiful beaches, and probably the mildest climate in the UK, Cornwall has so much to offer holidaymakers. Surfing, walking, sailing, fishing, culture, restaurants, or simply relaxing, it's all here for young and old alike.
St. Ives in Cornwall is perhaps the most beautiful coastal town in the South West, full of history, art, and four of the most beautiful beaches in Cornwall. The town has a superb selection of restaurants, cafes, and pubs and has developed a very cosmopolitan feel together with an art and cultural scene which acts as a magnet for visitors from all over the world.
St Ives has been named the Guardian seaside town of the year, 2007. Alongside 11 other short listed coastal towns and cities from around Britain and Ireland, St Ives faced an intense grilling by a star-studded panel of judges which included Bill Bryson and Rick Stein as well as John Betjeman’s daughter, Candida Lycett Green. But the combination of St Ives’ golden, Atlantic washed beaches, artistic draw and strong cultural identity made it a clear choice for the coveted title.
