Situated 10 minutes from the Vatican, this apartment is on a very quiet street and in an excellent, vibrant neighborhood. There is a wonderful bakery (Compagnia del Pane) on the corner that serves delicious croissants and pastries - we will find yourselfes there on most mornings. The apartment itself is spacious, clean and provided you with everything you need. There was ample closet space, a large refrigerator and kitchenette. The bathroom is adequate for our needs -The tenants of the building are quiet and the apartment is accessed through a hall that has doors to 3 additional apartments . The main roads of the district are via Cola di Rienzo, one of the main shopping streets of Rome, and the straight road that connects Piazza Cavour Piazza Mazzini ( the latter in the neighborhood Of Victory ): they intersect in the square Cola di Rienzo.
The first part comes from piazza Risorgimento and the Tiber , its continuation leading to the Piazza del Popolo , it focuses upon himself the commercial life of the district , along with Via Ottaviano and Via Pompeo Magno and part of Avenue Julius Caesar. Between the latter and the Avenue of the Militia are the three barracks of the Army and the Police and the Civil Court of Rome placed in another former barracks , while in Piazza Cavour is the aforementioned Hall of Justice , seat of the Court of the Supreme Court, but always known to the Romans as Palazzaccio .
Via Crescentius connects Piazza Cavour to Piazza del Risorgimento .
