Skiing : Borovets offers 19 well kept and lift equipped ski runs totalling over 58 kilometres in length, descending from a high point of 2,560 meters above sea level, with a maximum vertical drop of 1,420 meters. The Borovets ski season runs from December through to April with a snow cover of more than 1.5 meters. It also has snow guns for producing snow, and some slopes are illuminated for skiing at night. There are slopes of varying degrees of difficulty suitable for skiers of all skill levels. All ski runs are marked according to international standards with signs in several languages. Borovets has excellent ski schools with instructors speaking English, German, French and Russian.
