The apartment combines spacious and elegant accommodation in a tranquil setting with ready access to the beaches and the multiple attractions of the resort of Cannes. The apartment has three bedrooms, ensuite jacuzzi bath, air conditioning and fast wifi..The communal 15 metre pool is set in well maintained gardens. It is a short walk to the old town of Cannes, the old Port and the glamour of the promenade of Boulevarde La Croisette. The daily fresh food and flower market at Marche Forville and the attractive restaurants of Rue du Suquet and Rue St Antoine are also nearby.

Access to the apartment is easy and all the accommodation is on the ground floor. There are only nineteen apartments in the building, and only three are permanently occupied. So if you are using the pool it is rarely busy. One can sit in the grounds around the pool or in the apartment garden. The entrance to the pool and communal garden is approx 25 metres from the apartment, but on the other side of the building, so there is little noise.

In summer eating in the garden for all meals is relaxing and you can lower the awnings to create a candle lit dining area in the evening, just by the kitchen. There are good cooking and washing facilities, with modern appliances throughout.

The apartment is well situated to visit Nice, Monaco, Grasse, Antibes, St Tropez, Iles Lerins ( beautiful islands with beaches 20 min by ferry), Ventimiglia, to name but a few.

The main reception and dining area is spacious and light. There are comfortable seating areas and a dining table for 6. new LED TV, DVD and CD facilities are supplied. High speed Wifi is available free of charge.There is modern quiet air conditioning / heating throughout the apartment.All rooms have double patio door access to the private garden.The kitchen is well equipped with oven, microwave, toaster, large fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. There is a breakfast room for eating by the kitchen.Each bedroom has bathing facilities. The master bedroom has twin beds and extensive wardrobes.There is an en suite Jacuzzi bath, walk in shower and toilet, two wash basins.The second bedroom has a double bed, en suite bath and sink, whilst the third bedroom has twin beds and extensive wardrobes.A shower room and a separate toilet are opposite this bedroom.All rooms have travertine marble or woodstrip floors and there are electric radiators for colder months.Bedlinen and towels are supplied. A baby cot is available.

The private garden with the apartment is on two levels. The larger part surrounding the apartment is flat and planted with grass, shrubs, lemon and orange trees.There are facilities for outdoor dining and sunbathing. The garden is private and lit at night. A lower part of the garden is separate with a secure access gate. This area is steeper and is not suitable for young children or the elderly. A further garden area around the apartment block is laid to lawns and shrub and flower borders. The swimming pool is situated in this garden and is open from 9AM to 9PM. It is 15 metres in length and is secured for the safety of children. Use if the pool is conditional on obeying the rules, which forbid jumping in or shouting in the pool and garden.

Changeover days are flexible, though Saturday is preferred. Minimum let of 5 days. 30% non refundable deposit on booking. Remaining 70% to be paid one month before arrival date or at booking whichever is earlier. Check in is at 16.00, and Check out is 10.00. If there is no change over on arrival or departure date we will try to be flexible within reason.

The French Riviera - Cote d'Azur region

The local area of Cote d'Azur is renowed for its beauty and climate. Summer time has a classic Mediterranean climate with average temperatures of 26-30degrees celsius . Spring and autumn are mild though usually bright.

The Cote d'Azur has many attractions for families - beaches, swimming,sailing, amusement and water parks at Cannes la Bocca and Antibes as well as tennis and golf at Mandelieu.

For those interested in culture or history, visits to Les Iles Lerins ( monastery and said to be the prison of the Man in the Iron Mask) in the Bay of Cannes, Antibes for gallery of Picasso, St Paul de Vence hilltop village home to many artists, and Nice, cosmopolitan city with famous, modern and medieval art galleries.

Visitors who enjoy the good life will enjoy the ambience, good food , many restaurants nearby and the wonderful food and flowers in the Marche Forville a short stroll from the apartment. The bars and night clubs around the Croisette in Cannes are renowned for lively and late entertainment. A visit to St Tropez is also fun - take a ferry from the port in Cannes for a day out.

A different lifestyle is accessible in the small provencal villages behind Cannes. Grasse is famous for its perfumes and is worth a visit. Biot is a pretty village renowned for glassblowing and there are many attractive old villages within 30 minutes drive.


Marche Forville, open daily 7am -1pm lively market for fresh Provencal produce, fish, flowers.

Excellent shopping facilities including several supermarkets locally. Boulevard de La Croisette famous for luxury shopping.

Cannes Film Festival Mid-late May- world renowned film festival with many film actors/ actresses in town.

The port of Cannes is always busy with many large and small boats moored. Sailing trips, ferries to Iles Lerins, St Tropez, and Corsica leave from here.

Summer Fireworks ; organised by the Town Council, weekly in the summer evenings. Walk up to Le Suquet for a panoramic view of the Bay of Cannes and the spectacular Firework shows.

The old quarter of Cannes centres around Le Suquet is very close to the apartment and has cobbled streets and many restaurants and bars along the Rue du Suquet and Rue St Antoine - ideal for Mediterranean evenings.
