The shops and quality restaurants of Deganwy Village are only a short walk from The Buoys. Deganwy Beach is one of the few southwesterly facing beaches on the North Wales coast and provides a small suntrap with views across the estuary to Conwy Castle, whilst West Shore beach stretches for approximately 2 miles into Llandudno. Deganwy is situated in perfect location between the Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno and the magical, medieval World Heritage fishing town of Conwy, which are both only a 5 minute drive away. Both towns can also be reached on foot or by bicycle from The Buoys along the newly developed Wales Coastal Path. Alternatively you can catch the train from Deganwy Station (situated at the end of the promenade) into either Llandudno or Conwy.
