The 15th arrondissement of Paris is in the south-west of the city on the Left Bank of the river Seine. The 15th, the largest arrondissement of central Paris, remains heavily residential and quiet. Some parts of the arrondissement are close to the Eiffel Tower, which actually is in the 7th. Other sights include the Montparnasse Cemetery where Jean-Paul Sartre and Charles Baudelaire are buried amongst others.
It is a real Parisian district with a vibrant and lively atmosphere!
You will find close to the apartment the Parc of Georges Brassens and the second hand book market inside, both very nice!
You can also have a walk in the outdoor market Rue de la Convention. The Market begins at Metro Convention (line 12), corner of Rue de Vaugirard and Rue de la Convention, and ends at Rue de Cronstadt. It takes place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, with Sundays being the busiest.
