Wroxham (just 1 minute drive away) is know as the "Capital of the Broads" there are a number of good quality eating and drinking establishments together with the famous "Roy's stores" which are the largest village stores in the world !
Norfolk has an abundance of historical places to visit as well as the diversity of Norwich with its Cathedrals daily market, shopping malls , restaurants, and riverside bars.
Norfolk's coastline includes the pretty and quaint seaside towns such as Sheringham, Cromer, Caister, and of course Great Yarmouth with all the fun of the fair, all of these areas are within easy reach of Wroxham.
Apart from only being just over half a mile away from Wroxham with its many shops and attractions, Wroxham also has a second railway network with the narrow gauge Bure valley line running between Wroxham and Alysham with a combination of steam and diesel locomotives pulling period passenger coaches, there is a good service which runs all week for most of the season
