Fistral Cottage, Pentire, Newquay sleeps 6 and is a wonderful place just to relax and unwind from the stresses and strains from home.Set in a quiet cul-de-sac in Newquay on land once owned by the Duchy of Cornwall, Fistral Cottage has been styled on a traditional old fisherman's cottage just like other dwellings around Bezant Place. The cottage continues to be a favourite place to get away from it all. Sleeping 6 comfortably in three bedrooms, with 2 bathrooms (1 bathroom en-suite), downstairs W.C., lounge, separate dining room and fully fitted kitchen. It has everything you need for your stay as well as an abundance of books, board games, wi-fi and satellite TV, buckets and spades. You will be happy to know, that once your car is parked outside the house there is no need to ever use it again only when you wish to explore Cornwall and on your departure! All amenities are so close. The infamous Fistral Beach is within a couple of minutes walk from the cottage where you can surf, sunbathe, fish and swim in rockpools and even shop! The England region

Surfing, bathing, walking, touring, visiting castles and gardens or riding on steam trains (the list can go on!) - all are within a short distance of Fistral Cottage

Indulge yourself and book a table and sample local cuisine at fantastic restaurants such as Jamie Oliver's Fifteen at Watergate Bay and Rick Steins at Padstow. However in Newquay there are just plenty of fine dining restaurants only a short walk or drive away from the cottage.

Fistral Beach

Location just cannot be beaten! Grab a surfboard, take the buckets and spades and just head down to Fistral Beach - no need to take the car as its in walking distance so no stuck in traffic for hours looking for that car parking space! Alternatively, you are spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches as Newquay boasts 11 of them!

For keen surfers, Fistral Beach - walking distance - is the best and for those of you who want to have a go at surfing there are plenty of surf schools around.

Besides Fistral Beach we love Crantock Beach! The children love swimming, paddling and playing in their rubber dingy in the River Gannel. But the highlight for them is to see how many crabs they can catch from the small bridge and rocks! The Gannel and Crantock beach is easily reached and should it be high tide, we catch a little ferry from the Fern Pitt Cafe which is located on Riverside Crescent (which is around the corner from the cottage).

Still in Newquay, we have enjoyed the Adventure Centre in Lusty Glaze where you can abseil down the clifts and zip wire all the way from one end of the beach to the other!

As before, there are so many things to do and see around Cornwall, just give me a call and I will try and do my best to give you all the information to make your holiday a pleasant and enjoyable one!
