The Swiss Alps region

The Swiss Alps are better known for their winter season and the Valais region must be one of the most famous. With views of Mont Blanc in one direction and the Matterhorn in the other, Verbier is well placed for some amazing views. Located in the south-west of Switzerland, Valais borders onto both France and Italy which provides access to a number of smaller ski areas as well as the large resort of Verbier.

Verbier has it all ... great nightlife, fantastic views, large ski area that challenges all from the beginner up to the expert and a great atmosphere, which is why so many people come back time and again. Whilst the main attraction of Verbier is the skiing and snowboarding, there are other activities in the area including a sports centre with ice rink, a couple of new spas in the resort and the thermal baths a short drive away.
