The England region

Bath is surrounded by beautiful countryside where you will find country pubs and walks galore just a few minutes away. If you fancy exploring further, it is within easy reach of bustling market towns, mythical and historical landmarks (e.g. Stonehenge and Glastonbury Tor) and peaceful waterways.

Somerset is Englands farm, an agricultural region known for its Cheddar cheese and cider. It receives fewer visitors than its westerly neighbours, and there are hidden delights to be found in this area. Bath has always been a fashionable resort, noted for its curative springs for centuries. The town’s beginnings are prehistoric; it was an important spa for the Romans and a fashionable resort in the 18th century. The area is perfect for cycling with a network of country lanes and fewer slopes than the more rugged west.

Central Bath

Bath itself is a World Heritage City packed full of unsurpassed Georgian and Roman delights that will leave you wanting to come back for more. Bath Rugby club is in the centre of the city and the world-famous Thermae Spa is a delight not to be missed for a unique pampering that you will not forget. There are pubs, clubs, restaurants, bars, cinemas, theatre and leisure clubs along with the stunning sights to be seen such as The Roman Baths, The Royal Crescent, The Circus, Bath Abbey and Pulteney Bridge to name just but a few. There is a beautiful, quiet, riverside park just across the road from the Apartment if you feel like relaxing in a deckchair in the fresh air and at Christmas the city is bustling and beautiful.
