Dersingham is a village which has a lot to offer as well as it’s handy situation. The Royal Estate of Sandringham with it’s beautiful woodland walks is literally minutes away; the historical port of Kings Lynn is only 15 minutes by car as is the popular Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton. Nature Reserves at Titchwell and Snettisham, plus Dersingham Bog are also within easy reach and the area has a wealth of places of interest as well as the beaches and coastline ever popular for water sports.

Willow Cottage is quietly situated down a private road and has recently been totally refurbished throughout offering excellent quality accommodation for anyone looking for a welcoming stay in this beautiful area of Norfolk. A children’s playground lies opposite the property and newsagents, fish and chip shop, take away, Supermarket, church, pub restaurants, tea room, Post Office, pharmacy, hairdresser and garden centre with café, are all within easy reach.

Sitting in front of a beautiful lawned south-facing garden bordered with shrubs and with a small pond, and wildlife area, the detached bungalow is perfectly situated for a relaxing holiday or to explore this area of North West Norfolk. Modern refurbishment and redesign of the bungalow in 2018 has made it refreshingly light and airy throughout with new furnishings. There is underfloor heating in the bathroom plus gas radiator central heating in all rooms.

There is ample parking for 2/3 cars in the front drive with a garage handy for bike storage. Fencing surrounds the back garden so secure for dogs (small ones may get under the front gate).

Side entrance into a superb large, social area with corner kitchen plus living and dining areas with wood burner.

Hallway; three bedrooms; one with zip and link bed (to convert to double or twins), the second with a double and third with twins. Spacious, tiled shower room with large shower, WC and washbasin.

Garden; Rear garden has large lawn area ideal for the dog or children. Secret wildlife garden at the bottom of the plot with small pond

Parking; 2 cars on the drive. Further parking in the private lane.

Pet payment to be made to owner with RBD.

Returnable breakage deposit £100. (RBD) Owners will contact guest to collect payment nearer the holiday. Once owner receives payment then guest will be issued with arrival and departure details a week prior to their arrival. RDB is refunded back on to guests payment card a few days after their stay after owner/cleaner has confirmed no damages.

2-19 September 2020 C family; Just want to thank you all for Our enjoyable holiday at Willow Cottage. Will you thank your cleaner/cleaners or all the extra work involved at this difficult time. Our Cottage was spotlessly clean, which made us feel really safe. although on arrival we did give everything a once over with antibacterial wipes just to make sure. Our cottage was great, Bedrooms had loads of room, it was a lovely modern cottage, A hidden Gem. We couldn't believe that Sandringham was within waking distance.

The W family 3-10.8.19 We have loved staying at Willow cottage (second year running!). It is so well equipped, has a beautiful garden and is very comfortable - home from home. Also, perfectly located for may attractions in and around West Norfolk.

SNETTISHAM AND DERSINGHAM are very busy villages with several little shops, libraries, chemist, newsagents, pubs and churches, all within easy reach of our holiday homes in the village. Snettisham Beach is just a few minutes by car and is popular for sailing. The bird reserve close to the beach has featured many times on television with its abundance of migrating and resident birds. PENSTHORPE just outside Fakenham is also home to many different species of birds and a lovely day out for all the family with restaurant, walks, and play and information centres.

HEACHAM is the home of Norfolk Lavender where you can see the history of the site and buy lavender produce besides many other interesting gifts. The animal centre and Farmer Fred’s Adventure Play Barn are open all year for children and visitors. The village offers a wide choice of pubs/restaurants, plus local shops all within easy reach of our holiday homes here. The beach from the village is about a mile although there is parking, and a popular pub and restaurant on the way back if you walk!

HOLKHAM HALL, gardens, lake, museum and woodland are also open to the public and are host to a whole range of events and concerts throughout the year.

SANDRINGHAM HOUSE with it’s stunning gardens, museum and surrounding park are open most days throughout the year, perfect for picnics and dog walking. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
