From the manager

This deceptively large stone built cottage benefits from a central village location looking up the cobbled main street towards the Sun Inn.

There is a good sized entrance hall leading to the lounge with a bay window to the front and two smaller windows either side of the real fire with a large leather 3-piece suite, TV with Blue Ray DVD player, beamed ceiling and partial stone walls.

Also leading from the entrance hall is a good sized kitchen, equipped with a fridge/freezer electric cooker, microwave, washing machine, small dining area, large windows to the front and a smaller window looking towards the Church of St. Andrew. There is a large separate dining room with a window looking out to the church, with a downstairs WC leading off.

There is a stone staircase leading up to a landing with three good sized double bedrooms. The largest room has a double aspect looking to the west in one direction and up to the Sun Inn from the other. Bedroom 2 has a view over the church yard, while bedroom 3 looks up the cobbled main street. There is a large family bathroom with bath, separate shower, WC and wash hand basin.

Oil-fired central heating, oil and electricity provided with fuel allowance for the open fire.

Parking available in the nearby village car park which has EV charging points.

One pet welcome.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
