Location description from manager

The Valencian Country region

Alicante ~

Alicante is a port city on Spain’s southeastern Costa Blanca, and the capital of the Alicante province. Its old town, Barrio de la Santa Cruz, has narrow streets, coloured houses and a lively nightlife scene. From here, an elevator or a steep climb leads to medieval Castillo de Santa Bárbara, set on a hilltop with sweeping views of the Mediterranean coast.

Denia

Denia ~

Denia is a small tourist city located in the southeastern coast of Spain, to the north of Alicante.

One of the main attractions of Denia are the beaches. It has around 20 km. of coast divided in three parts: one sandy, the harbour and one rocky. If you go with kids it is more comfortable the sandy beach, which is in the northern part. All of them are equipped with foot showers and red cross volunteers. If you like diving it would be more interesting the rocky beach, like La punta negra or at the end of Les Rotes where there is a huge cliff.

Denia has many restaurants and multiple restaurant "districts", despite the town's small size. These range from small cafe style eateries serving fish and chips from English menus to tourists, to typical Spanish establishments with loyal local customers.

Many restaurants offer a menu of the day for between 8-12 Euros, often including multiple tapas for starters. Octopus, squid, mussels, prawns, scallops etc. are typical in starters and mains. Fish risotto is a common main dish, and makes a filling course that is both delicious and good value.

Head out to the Marina for more modern restaurants targeting international diners.

Additional Attractions and Activities include:

Biking Trails, Boat Charters & Rentals, Denia Castle & Archaeological Museum, Flea & Street Markets, Kayaking & Canoeing, Kitesurfing, National Park, Off Road Tours, Parasailing, Spa & Wellness Centre, Submarine Trips and Water Sports.

Golf ~

La Sella Golf Resort, Partida Alquería Ferrando, Dénia, Alicante:

La Sella Golf Course was designed by the prolific José María Olazábal in 1991, double champion of the Masters in Agusta. Enjoy in Denia a 27-holes course, known internationally for its excellent conditions for playing golf throughout the year. La Sella Golf has been headquarters of the Ladies European Tour, Spanish Female Championship and has hosted national team events and other big events. It is a wide and varied course, surrounded by the Natural Park of El Montgó. Its design is appropriate for all levels of players.
