Casa Sofia is a luxurious three bed Penthouse apartment set in the exclusive Playasol Mediterraneo 2 development with spacious gardens, fenced adult and children's pools and less then 200 metres away from the long golden sandy beaches of Denia and a selection of international and popular bars/restaurants and cafés. A car is not required as the centre of Denia is only a 10-15 minute walk.

Full range of international and English satellite TV channels - including BBC 1 & 2, ITV 1 & 2, Channel 4 & 5, SKY Sports and SKY Movies PLUS Free WIFI. Also a new sound system connectable with Bluetooth so don't bring your own music as the music available is infinite and free! The security blinds on all doors and windows are opened with a press of a button on the remote control for maximum comfort. Property alarmed and connected to emergency services. All rooms fitted with digitally controlled thermostatic radiators. Internal lift to all floors in development.

A set of Golf Clubs and trolley are provided. Three challenging golf courses are within a 20 minute drive. A mountain bike is also supplied for free use. Additional bikes can be hired nearby for a very reasonable €11 per day. A fantastic Tennis club is located only a 3 minute walk away. Many regular guests have left a growing library of books for others to enjoy.

Individual and covered parking space allocated within gated secure community. This is located directly in front lift access to Penthouse apartment.

The whole community has very recently been repainted to a very high standard and so not only are the gardens immaculate all year round but now the building looks brand new.

The supermarket Aldi is only a 3 minute walk away to stock up on all provisions. A cafe, small newsagents (if you want to buy British newspaper) plus Burger King are also only a 3 minute walk.

There is also an hourly regular bus service in to the centre of Denia.(approx. 5 minutes ride if you don't want to walk)

Unlike many urbanisations BBQ ing is very welcome here and it is therefore an excellent location to enjoy the Mediterranean lifestyle to the full!!

The Valencian Country region

The Costa Blanca (White Coast) is now one of the most cosmopolitan areas in Europe, having a coastline of over 200 kms and made up of some of the finest beaches on the Mediterranean. Most of these beaches, including the ones around Denia, enjoy a 'blue flag' status - the highest award that can be given within the EU. However, just a short drive inland and you'll find hillsides covered with terraced vineyards and lushgreen citrus orchards, a legacy of the agricultural traditions of the area, and dotted with charming villages full of narrow streets and flower-filled squares.

Denia

Denia is a coastal city located to the north of the province of Alicante, and has a 20 kilometre coastline, made of small, beautiful coves. To the north there are the fine sandy beaches of Les Marines and Les Bovetes and the shingle beaches of Les Deveses and L'Almadrava beaches, which are craggy and rocky; to the south is the Les Rotes beach. This is a delightful cosmopolitan town, rich in history and culture and its streets are a fascinating showcases of architecture through the ages. Its buildings are a permanent monument to the civilisations which have made their mark here - Iberian, Carthaginian, Roman, Arab, and Christian. These days tourism blends comfortably with the hustle and bustle of a working town.

The town is midway between the two international airports of Valencia (to the north) and Alicante (to the south). Both airports are within an hour's drive using the toll paying A7 motorway and are serviced by Easyjet and Ryanair. Denia is just a 15 minute hop from Exit 62.This is much more than a holiday resort and you'll find it a busier place than its coastal neighbours, Olivia and Javea. As well as being a magnet for tourists, mainly British and German, Denia is also a thriving commercial centre. It boasts modern supermarkets, an extraordinary number of banks, some top quality shops, tax consultants, lawyers, doctors, dentists, the area's biggest hospitals and the courts of justice.

The town is connected to Alicante in the south by a delightful local train that follows the coast via Calpe, Altea and Benidorm.

A great advantage of this property is it's proximity to the centre of Denia, the Ferry port and the local train station. A car is not required as it is only a 10 - 15 minute short walk.
