Blakemere Lodge sleeps up to 4 people (1 double and 1 twin room, all with super comfortable mattresses), lounge with 3 seater and 2 seater reclining sofas with large TV screen and dining table for 4, galley kitchen with everything you'd expect at home including microwave, dishwasher, cleaning materials and a family bathroom with a powerful shower over the bath.

Satellite TV and Internet Access along with a selection of books, magazines, toybox for the little ones and side rails for the single beds.

Stunning location in the heart of Delamere Forest with all the facilities right on our doorstep: Visitors Centre Cafe with bar, Go Ape, Train station with a fabulous cafe is a short walk away from the lodges (Manchester/Chester line). A fantastic place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and unwind in a beautifully tranquil and secure setting.

There is something to do for everyone, on the doorstep and up to a half hours drive away including: Go Ape, Gruffalo Trail, Segways, Abbeywood Estate, Wildshore (aqua park & watersports), Chester Races, Blakemere Craft Centre, Crocky Trail (get muddy and wet no matter what the weather), Beeston Castle, Manley Mere (adventure trail and watersports), Cheshire Oaks (Designer Outlet Shopping), Cheshire Ice Cream Factory, Marbury Park, Apple Jacks Farm (4-13 year olds: 40ft long bouncy castle, zip wires, hay mountains, roller skating), Cotebrook Shire Horse Centre, Jodrell Bank, Chester Zoo, Knowsley Safari Park and lots more.

We are also horse friendly for those that want bring their horse on holiday to take advantage of the 2000 acres of off road hacking around the forest and also direct access to the Whitegate Way and Oakmere bridleways.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Stacey (the owner) a message.

If Stacey (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
