Description

The ATELIER is a luxurious 31/2 rooms chalet (160m2) located in a fairytale private forest in Davos Wolfgang (6 min by car to Davos amenities and Parsenn lower terminus, 8 min to Klosters).

The spacious living room with a large open fireplace, 2 sitting areas, a dining area with a long table that seats 6-8 and the grand piano is the central focus of the house (windows on two sides).
On the same floor are the master bedroom, twin bedded with en suite bathroom and toilet, a second bathroom with shower and WC and the fully-equipped kitchen.
The wooden spiral staircase leads up to the gallery with a bed settee for a fifth person (extra charge) and access to the second bedroom with two twin beds.
The warm and peaceful ambience of the chalet is due to its natural materials such as swiss stone pine, walnut and granite. The very large windows offer an extraordinary view of the Klosters Mountains.

A washing machine and a clothes dryer are at your one disposal. Skiroom.

A washing machine and a clothes dryer are at your one disposal. Skiroom. One heated garage and 3 outside car parks are inclusive.
Outdoor there is a sitting area with a granite table, bench, garden furniture, loungers and grill.
The only neighbours are the landlords (40m distance next door) and they will be at any time on hand to ensure that everything is to your satisfaction (on request nearly every wish can be arranged).

The Swiss Alps region

Graubünden (Canton Grisons) is in the east of Switzerland and borders both Austria and Italy. The regional capital, Chur, is the oldest town in Switzerland. One pillar of the canton's economy is the tourism, concentrated in the mountains.

Davos/Klosters is a world famous and one of the largest ski resort in Europe which provides over 300 km of pistes reached by over 55 mountains transport facilities across five mountains.

Davos

Davos, the highest town of Europe with an altitude of 1'560 m guarantees good snow conditions in winter, nearly fog-free all year and not to forget, Davos continues to enjoy a unique reputation as a leading health resort thanks to its clean high-altitude climate.

With 5 different winter sports areas Davos Klosters offers winter sports fun for all tastes:
Snowboarders and freestylers meet on the Jakobshorn (snowpark and two half-pipes) as well as skiers who enjoy friendly get-togethers in cosy ski huts, sun terraces and funky ice bars.

Freeriders prefer Pischa (three runs will be marked and protected from Alpine risks but remain unprepared). Pischa is also a family-friendly mountain which offer the tiny guests great fun and games (children's paradise) as well as Rinerhorn and Madrisa.

The Parsenn/Gotschna ski region is on the opposite side of the valley. This is the largest of the five ski areas and easy to reach from either Davos or Klosters. The pistes suit all levels of skiing skill. The longest downhill run is from the top of the Weissfluhgipfel to Küblis (12 km). Tip: From the Weissfluhgipfel restaurant there are unequalled views of the Alp from Bernina to Säntis .

Night-time skiing is on the programme every Friday.

“Divine Atmosphere”

One of the most wonderful places you can imagine. For me the holidays were just perfect relaxation in a beautiful surroundings with total silence and Mountain views. With local friends of mine we even had a home concert in the house with a gorgeous Bechstein concert grand - just amazing! I truly recommend this place for anyone who needs some time off. It´s easy to promise you will sleep so deep. I can´t wait to visit there soon again!

“Peaceful hideaway”

Beautifully hidden in a small forest, the place offers absolute tranquility, yet it is only a 10 minutes car ride to the center of Davos with its ski stations, restaurants and shopping opportunities. The interior design is very modern and tasteful, and the huge fireplace drives away the cold. We have stayed there several times now, and we will come back regularly - I guess that is the most telling and honest review statement.

“Pleasure in summer and winter”

We have stayed at this house for summer as for winter holidays and both ways are most enjoyable. The mountain silence is amazing as is the setting in the midst of a beautiful forest. The building's style is timeless, the interior with its chimney and lots of woodwork has a great atmosphere. Bathrooms are newly renovated, beds comfy and the kitchen has everything you might need. The alpine city of Davos within reach of a ten minutes drive is another great pro if you need options for bad weather if you can't go hiking or playing golf (summer) respectively skiing (winter). House has a garage if you need one.

We had a wonderful stay at Atelier in Davos. What a beautiful location, with spectacular views over the mountains. The peace and quiet of being in the middle of the forest really added to the feeling of vacation. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and were made to feel right at home at this luxurious holiday house. The family Käppeli was really helpful, and had some good advice to make our stay even more enjoyable. This was our first vacation with our baby son, and it was everything we hoped for! We would recommend this holiday house to all of our friends (and have done so!).
