The climate during the summer is often balmy as the Gulf Stream warms the seas in the area, makes for excellent surfing and other water based pursuits. The landscape and coastal scenery is among the most spectacular and beautiful in Britain. Wonderful coastal path walks, inland rivers and villages brimming with that famous Devon character. Dartmouth

Dartmouth with its beautiful old-world centre is considered the capital of the South Hams, famous for peaceful rolling countryside, renowned coastline, excellent beaches (Blue Flag status) & coastal walks along footpaths leading to secluded beaches. Dartmouth’s focal point is its bustling harbour and broad, wooded river. “Just fantastic”

Reviewed 27 Apr 2013

Totally blown away by this wonderfully equipped and beautifully furnished apartment and all the little luxuries that were included. We stayed for a week and were all so relaxed. Whenever we returned to the apartment we felt it really was home from home. The added bonus being just a few minutes walk to all local restaurants and amenities. Thoroughly recommend and will certainly be returning as will our 2 friends who stayed with us.....just book it now!

“What a great place to stay”

Reviewed 18 Dec 2012

This is a lovely flat - comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The location is brilliant ( it really is only 60 seconds walk to the river), a couple of minutes walk to the town centre, 15 minutes to the coastal path and well placed for some lovely pubs and restaurants. The booking agent and owners were helpful, friendly and gave us lots of information to help us get the best out of our stay. Don't know what it's like in summer but Dartmouth in winter was great. The weekend we were there coincided with their annual Christmas market which included a candlelit procession and live music on the Saturday night - really good fun and a lovely atmosphere throughout the town.
