Location description from owner

The Yorkshire region

Danby lies in the midst of the North York moors an area of steep sided green valleys and heather covered upland. The moors offer an endless variety of walking opportunities and days out at the seaside, Whitby is a favourite or a ride on the north york moors steam railway. We are only one hour's drive from York for those who want a day out in the city.

Danby

Plum Tree lies between the villages of Danby and Castleton both of which offer places to eat and basic food shopping. Both villages have a railway station for day trips out.
