“Idéalement situé”

La situation en bord de plage et de chemin piétonnier de bord de mer ,le parking privé,la proximité du centre ville ,la vue mer incomparable ,font du séjour un très agréable moment ;par contre ,dans l'appartement,il n'y a pas deux salles de bains mais une seule ,contrairement à l'annonce ,et le mobilier ainsi que la vaisselle de table sont plutôt vieillots.

Owner's reply: Je vous remercie pour votre avis et suis ravie que vous ayez passé un très agréable moment dans notre appartement. Pour l'intitulé salle de bain vous trouverez ci-après la réponse de tripadvisor qui est indépendant de mon annonce mais lié à un problème de paramétrage informatique : "Nous avons vérifié votre annonce et nous constatons que vous avez effectué l'entrée de données correctement soit : 1 Salle de bain familiale, 1 Toilettes uniquement. Cependant, cela est traduit en titre: "Chez l'habitant / 3 chambres / 2 salles de bain / Couchages 6", qui en effet peut porter à confusion." J'ai du supprimer les 2 ème WC de l'annonce qu'il identifie en salle de bain mais qui sont bien présents. Pour le mobilier vieillot, ces derniers sont plutôt anciens et rustiques : commodes, armoires en chêne, en parfait état. Le mot vieillot laisse sous entendre que ces derniers sont en mauvais état ce qui n'est pas le cas ainsi que pour les literies qui sont très récentes. J'espère vous accueillir lors d'un prochain séjour à Damgan.

“Great apartment in fantastic location!”

The best thing about this apartment has to be the location! Right on the beach (other rentals in Damgan are across a road from the beach), it offers great views from both floors and couldn't be more convenient for a beach holiday. Our two small children had a fantastic time on the large, safe and not very busy (in September) beach and the handy outside storage area meant we could leave all their sandy things outside the apartment. The apartment itself is clean, comfortable, spacious (for a holiday let) and offered everything we needed. We couldn't fault it and it really became a home from home for us. Damgan town centre is about a 15-20 minute walk along the beach front (which is flat, with cycle paths) and is a lovely town with everything you need in terms of shops, restaurants, banks, a tourist information and even a kids playground near the beach. Larger supermarkets are only a short drive away if you need them. We spent a few days exploring the area around Damgan but only scratched the surface, it's a beautiful part of Brittany with quaint towns, lovely beaches and enough to keep the kids entertained (they loved Branfere zoo). The only negative comment I have to make is that while the owner spoke English, her representative in Damgan didn't - which did lead to some misunderstanding due to our poor French! However, once we understood each other everything was rectified quickly. Overall, we enjoyed this holiday so much we are hoping to come back, to the same apartment, next year!
