Charming log cabin with stunning views over beautiful Loch Awe and the mountains beyond.

The cabin sits on extensive, secluded grounds on the loch shore and provides the perfect location to be at one with nature in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Cabin has French windows opening onto a raised veranda, with garden furniture. It has many charming features to give visitors a real log cabin experience, with accommodation consisting of an open plan lounge, with dining and kitchen area, two bedrooms and shower room. Cabin is double glazed, well heated and is suitable for use all year round

The area has a multitude of great walks and trails amid outstanding scenery and there is an abundance of wildlife and local attractions..

A scandinavian style, wood fuelled hot tub is available to guests and is available at extra £60 per stay (includes 2 bags of logs). The perfect way to relax and enjoy the stunning views across Loch Awe. Additional logs can be purchased

Please be aware that this is a traditional tub and can take several hours (depending on outside temperature) to warm up when first lit.

Whether you require a base from which to explore Argyll and the West Coast of Scotland, simply enjoy the local area or just relax and be at one with nature this cabin provide the perfect location.

A beautiful, unspoiled part of Scotland with access to the west coast & Isles. A fabulous location for those who love the great outdoors with an abundance of breathtaking scenery & wildlife on offer.

Dalavich

This unique location was created by the forestry commission as a place of tranquillity, amid outstanding scenery. In addition to the peace and quiet of the log cabin locations the surrounding area provides an amazing natural playground with forests, burns, rivers, castles, mountains and lochs to explore and enjoy. The area has a proliferation of walks, cycle routes and local attractions, has an abundance of wildlife and is a world renowned destination for anglers.

Many visitors are captivated by the area, as we were, and return time and again to the shores of Loch Awe. We hope that you too will visit our highland hideaway and enjoy our log cabins and the natural wonders of this unspoiled part of Scotland.

Oban is the gateway to the western isles and some of the most spectacular scenery in Scotland. There are many interesting places to visit, to follow are just a few:
