Description from manager

Description

Stable Nook is a newly refurbished 400 year-old detached stone built cottage in a breath-taking location with panoramic views across the Llafar Valley to the Aran mountain beyond. Surrounded by rolling hills and fields and peacefully set in 6 acres, the cottage is approached from a very quiet lane just 2 miles from Bala Lake. A genuine stable conversion of superior quality with lawned gardens to the front and side, and private rear floodlit patio area, Stable Nook is a deceptively spacious and airy cottage with lots of character and charm. Sloping ceilings and oak beams galore.

Further details

Freshly made beds, pre-heated cottage and a Welcome Tray of tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival. Parking for several cars/boats per property. Groups welcome, but sorry, no stag or hen parties.

Further details indoors

Ground floor: Hall, large sitting room with Villager stove set in inglenook fireplace. Steps down from hallway to spacious dining kitchen with stable door

Further details outdoors

Stable Nook is one of 4 luxury cottages set in 6 acres with the most outstanding views and location. The historic former farmstead of Cyffdy dates back to 1293. The cottages and Main House are separate from each other for space and privacy but close enough together to be booked as a group. For younger guests, in the Cyffdy grounds there is a large paddock with resident goat and sheep, and sledges are available for winter holidays. The Timber Trail Play Area, constructed to ROSPA standards, provides endless hours of fun, and the Barn offers shelter for wet weather play.
