Description

Water's Edge is a beachfront contemporary style apartment with beautiful views across Cushendun Bay. Cushendun village lies at the south end of Cushendun Bay. An open, gently shelving, golden sandy beach stretches northwards for nearly a mile, nurtured and protected by the volunteers from the National Trust. One of the most intimate, quiet and picturesque beaches on our North Coast, it just calls on you to explore its shores, Summer and Winter.

The property looks over the seafront; all of the accommodation is based on the ground floor and is accessed through your own front door. The living area is large and spacious with an open fire (ready to light), sofas, wooden hardwood floor throughout the dining and kitchen area, which has all the facilities you will need on holiday. Northern Ireland region

Cushendun

"Nestled at the mouth of the River Dun (The Brown River) at the foot of Glendun, Cushendun is a charming, historic village with lots of character and folklore. The surrounding hills are a patchwork of hill farms, small fields, hedgerows and traditional stone walls.

- a small, sheltered harbour and a beautiful beach

- views of Scotland on a clear day

- fine, circular walking trail and river fishing, sea angling, boating, horse riding and golfing facilities nearby

- pub, restaurant, and Corner House tea-room in the village

- breathtaking scenery from Cushendun to Loughan Bay, Torr Head and Ballycastle"

Cushendun as described by the National Trust, a charity that looks after The Corner House café, Glenmona House and much of the conservation work in Cushendun village.
