Description

Relax in this comfortable seaside property in the lovely village of Cushendall. The house is situated a short walk from the seashore, less than 500m to the local beach and golf course. This is an ideal setting for a family holiday with lots of indoor and outdoor space to enjoy. There's plenty for all the family to do in the immediate area; swimming, boating, fishing, golf, hill-walking, cycling, pony-treking are only a few of the activities available in the locality. Cushendall is set in the heart of the beautiful Glens of Antrim on the spectacular Causeway Coast. The house is just a short walk from the village which has a good selection of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. There are two play areas for young children nearby, one at the beach and the other in Cottage Wood, an attractive wooded area with walks and a picnic area just beside the village. A number of Game of Thrones film locations are within easy driving distance.

The property has a large fully- equipped modern kitchen/dining area and a comfortable sitting room with an open fire and satellite TV/DVD. There are 4 bedrooms (two double bedrooms - one with en-suite, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom) which can accommodate up to 6 people. There are 3 bathrooms (one en-suite with shower, one with bath and one with shower). Cot, high chair and stair gates are provided. There is private parking for 2 cars. The house has WI-FI.

This is our family holiday home so we want to ensure it is as well equipped and as comfortable as possible for us and our guests - we are constantly making improvements.

I am there to greet all guests on arrival and show them how everything works. I am always happy to advise on places to visit, local walks etc. Tea, coffee, salt, pepper, cooking oil and other basic larder items are provided for guests as well as bread and milk when they arrive. I also provide tabs for the washing machine and dishwasher as well as toilet roll, kitchen roll, soap etc. Everything is done to make my house a home from home for the guests.

“Cushendall bungalow”

Great holiday home. Extremely comfortable and within easy reach of beach and restaurants. The owner has taken great care with fresh flowers and welcome pack. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thank you Patrick.

We have stayed in Cushendall many times before and over the years we have holidayed in dozens of cottages throughout Ireland. This one rates among the top 3. The location was perfect short walk to the shore, less than 5 mins. to beach, easy walk to town; pubs restaurants and shops. The owner was friendly and helpful the bungalow was immaculate all the necessary facilities and then some, even providing coal for the open fire. Really enjoyed our stay, wished we could have stayed longer.

Furniture a bit tired but warm and cosy with all facilities. Beds very comfortable slept like a log with lovely sea air to breathe.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
