"Lovely little cottage in a beautiful area, well appointed, warm and comfortable"
Beech Cottage is a recently renovated small lodge house in a lovely position on Boars Hill. The furniture and fittings are excellent and the heating system is reliable and efficient. The only drawback for some people might be the fact that the bathroom is downstairs and the shower is over the bath with no handles for assistance. There is also a certain amount of road noise. For ramblers, there are great walks in the area, some directly from the front door and many with fantastic views over Oxford and the downs. there are shops within easy reach and three pubs in the vicinity. I can highly recommend this cottage to anyone wishing to spend some time in or around Oxford but have a base in the country.
