Situated in the popular Cumbre del Sol resort set amongst many large hillside villas is this small selection of townhouses surrounding a huge swimming pool with café/bar.

Our home comprises of 2 bedrooms (1 x Double 1 x Twin), master with large sun terrace overlooking pool. Bathroom with bath & shower, downstairs cloakroom, well appointed kitchen and large open plan living/dining area leading to further outside terrace with Bar-B-Q.

The property has been tastefully decorated in a Moorish/Spanish style and benefits from all " Mod Cons" ie. DVD/CD player, TV with cable channels, washing machine, toaster, kettle, microwave, fans, heating etc. There is a shop, restaurant/bar, bank & chemist within easy walking distance and another shopping complex 3-4 min drive away. The property is ideal for families especially due to its proximity to the pool. There is also a look out point in the nature reserve area just a few mins walk which is a fabulous place to sit and watch the sun rise if you can get up early enough! I would recommend that hiring a car is essential for exploring the local area and whilst there are facilities on site, this is a quieter resort and for nightlife you would almost certainly head out to the local towns of Moriara, Denia and Javea.

A £150 non-refundable deposit is required to secure booking with the remainder plus a £100 refundable security deposit payable 6 weeks prior to commencement of your holiday. For late bookings please provide deposit ASAP upon reservation.

Bathroom: Bath, shower, w.c, bidet, wash hand basin and mirror with tiled walls and floor.
Downstairs Cloakroom: Wash hand basin & w.c.

Kitchen: Fully fitted and equipped with oven, grill, gas hob, extractor fan, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, cutlery and all utensils, cutlery & crockery for 6, with washing machine, clothes drier and cleaning equipment.

Lounge/dining room: Solid wood dining table (seats 4), 1x large sofa, 2 x rocking chairs, cable TV and DVD/CD player, fans or heaters for winter evenings.

Downstairs terrace & Garden: Patio Furniture to seat 6, portable Bar-B-Q, plants,
candle holders and outside oil lamps – lovely for long lazy evenings!.

Air conditioning is really not needed as the large doors and windows provide ample air flow, however fans are provided.

There is parking directly outside the front of the house and the pool & tennis courts are literally 25 -50 metres from the house with the beach about 1.5 miles down the hill.

The Valencian Country region

The Costa Blanca (White Coast) is now one of the most cosmopolitan areas in Europe, having a coastline of over 200 kms and made up of some of the finest beaches on the Mediterranean. Many of these beaches, including the ones around Moraira, enjoy a 'blue flag' status - the highest award that can be given within the EU. However, just a short drive inland and you'll find hillsides covered with terraced vineyards and lush-green citrus orchards, a legacy of the agricultural traditions of the area, and dotted with charming villages full of narrow streets and flower-filled squares.

Clues to the region's history are very evident as you explore its villages, towns and cities. Place names have their Arabic roots but it's the architecture which is most striking. Ancient villages were built on hilltops and always featured winding streets to aid defence against marauders. GUADALEST is a fortress village that dates back to the middle ages, perched at over 1500m on a mountain peak about 25 Kms inland from Benidorm; it is still only accessible via a tunnel passing through 15m of solid rock.

The Costa Blanca region of Spain also has one of the best climates in the world as defined by the UN's World Health Organisation. Enjoying on average over 300 days of sunshine a year, summer temperatures rarely fall below 30C whilst winters are typically very mild with average temperatures around 18C.

For those seeking a more cosmopolitan experience, VALENCIA is about 1 hour's drive to the north. This is Spain's third largest city and offers superb modern shopping facilities as well as a wonderful, traditional fresh meat, fruit and vegetable market. Drive about 45 minutes to the south and you'll find BENIDORM with its unrivalled nightlife. However, other attractions at Benidorm include Mundo Mar Marine and Exotic Animal Park. The Park is home to a wide range of creatures living in a simulated natural environment with one of the highlights of the day being the amazing dolphin show. Next to Mundo Mar Marine is Aqualandia, which features a multitude of water entertainments. Finally, there's Terra Mitica. This spectacular theme park will transport you back to the Greek and Roman eras and has one of the biggest roller coasters in Europe.

The inland areas of the Northern Costa Blanca are considered by many to be some of the most beautiful parts of rural Spain. Drive inland about 30 minutes from Moraira and you come to the JALON VALLEY which is an excellent example of this type of countryside with its natural beauty, lush vegetation and stunning mountain backdrops. The whole area is particularly attractive with olive and orange groves, vineyards and, early in the year, the wonderful scent of almond blossom.

There is the choice of flying into several different airports. This give you great choice when booking flights.
Alicante - 1 hour. Valencia - 1 hour 15 mins. Murcia - 2 hours.
Travelling from any of the airports is very easy as the A7 takes you directly to the outskirts of the town.

Cumbre del Sol

The beautiful towns of Denia and Moraira are about 10-15 minutes by car where you will find lots of lovely bars, restaurants as well as supermarkets and shops. Javea is around a 30 minute drive away and here you can catch a ferry to Ibiza. The lively town of Calpe is about a 25 minute drive away. For the children you can find Mundomar sea world, an aqua park and Terra Mitica (a large theme park near Benidorm all within 30 mins).

The property is located in the aptly named Cumbre del Sol - Summit of the Sun. The area boasts magnificent sea and mountain views - the spectacular Calpe rock is a unique landmark and also on a clear day the island of Ibiza can be seen. The development has its own pretty cove with beach and various amenities including a bank, supermarket, restaurants and bars some in walking distance. Activities in Cumbre Del Sol include multiple swimming pools, a horse riding centre and tennis courts. The tourist office offers free guided walks of the area in English and Spanish during the summer.

Within a 10 minute drive you will find 2 lovely courses in Javea (18 holes) and Moraira (9 holes). If you want to go slightly further afield, a 30 minute drive will take you to the magnificent championship course at La Sella which was designed by Jose Maria Olazabal or Oliva Nova Golf near Javea

The local beach is 1 mile away at the foot of the mountain. It is a small sheltered bay, perfect for swimming and snorkelling with a small beach bar and cafe. Slightly further a field, about a 10-15 minute drive, you will find the large sandy beaches of Javea, Denia and Moraira all of which also have established marinas and numerous bars and restaurants shops, banks etc.

“Great holiday stay”

I went here with my two boys ages 8 and 15. We have been here before and love the area. This townhouse was a great location opposite the pool. Very well equipped and had everything we needed spacious bedrooms and a spacious downstairs and great size kitchen and the bonus of a laundry room. Perfect holiday for either a couple or with children. The communal pool area is perfect shallow end for young children and the food/ bar area serves lovely food all day. Cumbre Del Sol a definate must for a great holiday.
