St Helens Cottage oozes old character charm with a wealth of historical original features including; Wooden beams, latched doors, inglenook fireplaces and deep set windows. A stone pathway through the pretty cottage garden leads to the front door of this traditional cottage.

Enter into the porch with tilled flooring with space for boots and coats. Stairs leading to the first floor and doors to the kitchen and lounge.

Relax and unwind in the lounge with a old country cottage favourite; a traditionally built natural stone inglenook fireplace with bread oven. Surrounded by comfortable chic styling, neutral colour scheme and beautifully presented Oak flooring the room comprises of; two beige leather sofas, chair, rustic painted coffee table, LCD freeview TV, DVD player and stereo. The room also benefits from views overlooking the quaint garden.

The kitchen creates a real country feel with its decorative Rayburn in an inglenook (Not in use) and styled with green painted fitted units with a cream work surface and splash backs. Double electric oven with ceramic hob and grill, microwave, washing machine, kettle, toaster and plenty of kitchen utensils and crockery. An Oak dining table with 4 white seats is ideal for meal times or playing family games.

The dining room has a pine dining table with blue comfortable chairs for 6, white washed exposed brick work, traditional painted dresser and an original Norman arched window and patio doors that lead onto the private courtyard with beautiful view to the surrounding hills of Croyde.

1ST FLOOR

The Master bedroom is delightfully furnished with shabby chic styled antique furniture with a cream metal ornate framed king-size bed, bedside table with reading lamp, chair, chest of drawers and a deep set window bay with village views to gaze upon as you wake near the sea.

Bedroom 2 has twin beds, wardrobe, a bedside table and country views.

Family bathroom comprises of a white bathroom suite with a bath with shower over, wc, washbasin, wall mounted mirror, heated towel rail, airing cupboard. A quaint shuttered window and white painted floorboards finishes the country cottage feel.

Bedroom 3 is accessed from the dining side of the cottage with stone steps leading to a beautiful arched original beamed ceiling. An ornate cream painted chest of drawers with lamp, chair, a metal framed double bed and lovely views of the surrounding hillside.

OUTSIDE SPACE

The gardens are beautifully planted and manicured with many interesting features. These include stone seating, a private old stone courtyard with delightful quirks, lawns and a secluded stone terrace dining area which is a real sun trap. Wooden furniture is provided for outdoor dining.
