No. 6 is located equal distance from the famous Thatch pub and the beach, both less than 10 mins walk.

Until recently this was our family home which makes it an ideal place to cater for all ages. Newly redecorated and refurnished. A perfect place for enjoying outdoor activities, relaxation, celebration or simply soaking up the surf culture.

3 Bedrooms with countryside views/ sea glimpses: 1 king, 1 double, 1 twin.

Bright lounge with oak floor, new 43" samsung smart 4K TV, Taotronic Bluetooth speaker.

Recently fitted kitchen/ breakfast room. Conservatory dining room great in the sun, stars or rain.

Contemporary upstairs bathroom with bath/ shower.

Upstairs snug equipped with TV and Wii Games Console.

Utility and wet room essential post beach.

Full use of garage (access from driveway and utility) complete with table tennis table.

Surfers/ beach lovers - I can run from the garage and be out back in < 5 mins at high tide. Either go left to downend or through the dunes for middle beach. The garage (complete with board racks), wet room adjacent to backdoor and outdoor undercover hanging space for wetties makes this pad ideal.

Young Children - Until last year this house was home to 2 lively preschool children. Stair-gates, Mothercare cot with coolmax fresh fx mattress and highchair available at no extra charge. Walk to the beach virtually road free. A short scoot/ bike ride to playparks and swimming pools. All bed rooms have black out roller blinds and curtains.

Older Children - Snug/ kids lounge upstairs. TV, Nintendo Wii with 11 game package, balance board, guitar hero.

Table tennis table in garage.

Outdoor lovers - Plenty of garage space to store your bikes/walking boots/kayaks/ fishing rods. Walking distance to headland hikes and horse riding stables. Loads of beautiful beaches nearby. Minutes drive from the Tarka trail for off road flat easy riding. Great area to enjoy road biking.

Within easy walking distance of surf, coastal circular walks, beach, pubs, restaurants, tearooms, surf hire and shops, horse riding stables, 2 swimming pools (flumes, spa pools and saunas), playparks.....

Our Changeover day is Friday. Arrive straight after work avoiding the crazy Saturday m5 traffic and be in the village before the rest - Saturday morning is free to start to relax with breakfast out or the first dawn wave!

The England region

Croyde is a pretty costal village. It has a bijoux range of great pubs, cafes and shops providing local fudge, surf wear and hire as well as the usual holiday essentials. It has become internationally renowned for its superb surfing beach, which has hosted numerous top ranking surfing competitions. From here explore stunning coastal paths to Saunton Sands, Baggy Point, Putsborough Sands and beyond as well as rural hikes inland. There are a wide range of dining venues offering everything from cream teas to locally caught fish.

Croyde hosts various tournaments throughout the summer including volleyball, surf life saving and triathlon. GoldCoast Oceanfest is a growing 3 day festival in June which boasts a wide range of music from local talent to headline acts. Deckchair cinema, comedy evenings and smaller live music events are also a frequent feature of the summer months.

The nearby pretty village of Georgeham has two further pubs offering good quality food.

Croyde

The property is ideally situated to explore the nearby beaches and coastline of Saunton, Putsborough, Woolacombe, Ilfracombe and Lee Bay. Saunton has a beach perfect for learner and experienced surfers alike as well as offering a renowned golf course.

The nearby larger village of Braunton is a 10 minute drive away and provides a wider range of local amenities including post office, banking, health centre, pubs, restaurants, library, supermarket and shops.

The market town of Barnstaple is the regional centre and is a 20 minute drive away. It hosts North Devon's main commerce, entertainment and shopping venues. The regional leisure centre and state of the art Tarka tennis centre are also located here.

The market towns of Bideford, South Molton and Torrington are all within easy driving distance. As are the estuary towns and villages of Westword Ho! Appledore, Clovelly and Instow.

Exmoor is an easy day trip for hikes, views, nature and a more rocky coastline.
