We very much enjoyed our stay at Putsborough Garden cottage and will certainly return in the near future. The location is outstanding and is just a short walk to a world class beach and pubs! The cottage is very well designed and equipped with lovely enclosed gardens. All that space was a little wasted on just two people.!

Owner's reply: Thanks so much for taking the time to give the cottage your lovely review, so glad you enoughed visiting again and I very much look forward to seeing you again the next time you stay with us.

“Very special place!”

Spent a long weekend with friends recovering after Christmas and we thoroughly enjoyed the cottage. Our eyes lit up when we arrived! Top quality throughout. Very high standard from the kitchen that had everything you could possibly want to the bedrooms all equipped with stunning bathrooms (all three of them) Charlie the dog enjoyed the lovely walks too in beautiful surroundings. The owners John and Claire very friendly and full of interesting local knowledge. Hoping to repeat our visit next year. We shall be in touch as soon as we know what weekend. Thank you both!

Owner's reply: Thanks for your fanatastic review!! Of course we are very glad that you enjoyed Putsborough Garden Cottage and beautiful North Devon and would love to see you again... just let us know when you have the date :)

“Perfect holiday location”

Reviewed 30 Jun 2013

Well done Claire and John you have made this a perfect place to stay we did not want to leave, the cottage and garden is fabulous and so peaceful and is the best we have ever stayed in and had everything that you would ever need . Putsborough beach was a short walk away and we spent some lovely days there with the children and our dog Molly and found everyone in pubs and cafes extremely dog friendly. We will definitely be returning. Yvonne & Neil, Liverpool.

Owner's reply: Thank you very much for your great review! So glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again...

“Superb cottage in a great location”

Reviewed 18 Jun 2013

We were delighted by the Garden cottage. It's spacious, beautifully designed and finished to a high standard. The open living area makes cooking and eating very sociable. The amazing beach and rock pools are a few hundred metres walk away and the coast path is on the doorstep. All the comforts of home including top quality appliances, Sky tv, wi-fi, bbq and excellent quality showers and jacuzzi bath, means that it is a pleasure to return to after a day out or to chill for a lazy day or when the weather is too bad. The owners give a warm welcome and are attentive without being intrusive. We could happily stay here, and would definitely recommend to families or couples.

Owner's reply: Thanks for your amazing review, so glad that you enjoyed the cottage so much and I am sure that potential visitors will appreciate your review too! Hope to see you again one day....

“Perfect cottage in the ideal location!”

Reviewed 25 Aug 2011

On arrival we found Garden Cottage clean and perfectly presented with everything we could possibly need during our stay. We received a very warm welcome from the owners on arrival who instructed us on all of the necessary within the cottage, and also a few local recommendations on good pubs and shops etc, which was greatly appreciated. The garden is fantastic, much bigger than expected and feels very private, it was great for the few days we didn't fancy the few minutes walk to the beech! Location could not have been better! We could walk to the beech in literally a few minutes, Croyde village in around 20mins. Georgeham is a 15mins walk and has two great pubs/resturants, The Kings Arms and The Rock Inn, and both served great food at reasonably prices. We really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to returning in the near future.

Owner's reply: Thanks so much for your review, it is greatly appreciated and will be of assistance to our future guests. We hope to see you again for another visit to Putsborough...
