Description

This traditional, tranquil fisherman's cottage sits beside a small stream and within 20m of Crovie pier.

The cottage has been decorated with a stylish mix of antique furniture, quirky up-cycled pieces and beautiful paintings.

There is a wood burning stove in the sitting room and electric panel heaters throughout.

The kitchen has a dual fuel gas/electric range cooker, a washing machine, a microwave and a dishwasher.

The family bathroom has a bath but no shower. The shower room is downstairs.

The cosy "Crivie bed" in the sitting room provides a single sleeping space or a great place to snuggle up with a book in front of the fire. The sitting room has a TV and DVD player.

The cottage has a small garden behind the house, through which runs the stream. The large terrace in front of the house is ideal for al-fresco dining.

There is no WiFi at the cottage , but the village has good mobile phone reception (EE 4G).

The owners also own the cottage next door. They have a small boat and will be delighted to provide local fishing trips and lobster creel expeditions when they're at Number 26.

One of Crovie's most endearing features is that there is no road through the village. Peace and quiet reigns. Cars are parked in the car park at the end of the village and luggage brought to Number 25 by "Crivie barrow", about 150m walk.

A truly get-away-from-it-all cottage. The perfect place to unwind.
