"restful mini-break for post birth sanity!"
We bit the bullet and paid for long weekend near friends and family rather than imposing a 3 yr old and a 5wk old on them. It worked for us as we needed a retreat and a rest as well. The apartment was well set up, clean, very comfy, warm and well located with a 5 min (dragging a toddler) walk to beach and shops. we ate out but could have easily eaten in every night as the kitchen was well set. A home from home really. The owners gave us the door codes and we never met them but we could have contacted them very easily if there was an issue. Cromer is a known entity to us but if you don't know it, think Whitstable just before it got trendy. its very pictaresque with all the facilities. A bit faded in parts but definitely on the up. Great beach, good pubs and some nice restaurants. I hope it doesn't get too gentrified! Recommend the craft beer and burger place and the rocket cafe.

"Comfortable accomodation in central location, but parking was a problem"
Crab Cottage is in a good central location in Cromer, which is a lovely seaside town. Very convenient for all amenities, including the many and varied independent shops. The cottage was comfortable and spacious, though the stairs were a bit steep. We managed them ok. The only real problem with it was the lack of parking outside or near the property on the road, it was very restricted. So we bought a week's season ticket from the Tourist Information Office so that we could use a couple of car parks in Cromer. The nearest was 10-15 minutes walk away. We were able to use the ticket in other car parks in other places in N. Norfolk which was good.
We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay in Crab Cottage. Although there is no designated parking it is possible to stop outside to load and unload your car. Most of our guests find free parking on nearby streets using the map we provide. The main pay and display car park is at the Tourist information office on Louden Road which is 300 metres away, approximately 3 minutes walk. If preferred you can buy an inexpensive permit at the tourist office for the duration of your stay which can also be used at many other car parks in the area.

"Great short break"
Stayed at Crab Cottage for a 4 night break at the end of May 2014 and had a wonderful stay. Our party consisted of myself, daughter, teenage granddaughter and her friend. The cottage was cozy, comfortable and clean and the owners had put a lot of thought into providing everything you could possibly need for your stay. Communication with Mark (owner) was excellent. Cottage was ideally situated just off the high street and only a five minute walk to the pier and beach. Check out the shows on Cromer Pier. We saw the musical Oliver (amateur operatic society) which was excellent. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Crab Cottage.
Glad you enjoyed your stay and you are absolutely rite the theater on the pier does have some great shows we do often publish them in our Norfolk holiday Properties face book page. Hope to see you again.

"Convenient and comfortable"
We really enjoyed staying in this conveniently located property. It is two minutes from the shops and the sea. It is warm (easily adjustable thermostat) and comfortable. (Beds fine) For me personally, a clothes washer would be preferable to a dish washer, but someone else might prefer the dishwasher. The only other suggestion is a name plate on the outside door. I also think the access code entry system is a great way not to lose any keys! Oh, and the welcome package is well - welcome. Thanks.

"We had a most enjoyable stay in Crab Cottage, Cromer"
The cottage was very warm, comfortable, clean and well appointed. It was ideally situated in the centre of town (but quiet). We enjoyed walks around this attractive seaside town and down onto the beach. There were many cafes and restaurants within short walking distances. A fantastic winter break
