The East Anglia region

Northrepps is a rural village, it is 1 1/2 miles from Overstrand beach and 2 miles to Cromer, with its pier, shows and history of seafaring. 'Quiet Lanes' were introduced some years ago, enabling visitors to walk or cycle between villages and nearby coastal areas.

The climate varies considerably on the East Coast, it is possible to experience all seasons in 1 week, so do check the weather forecast and come prepared.

Cromer

Places to see are, Sheringham Gardens, Wells-Next-The-Sea, Blakeney and Seal Island' the Art Galleries in Cley-next-the-sea, The Golf Course at Cromer Links, Felbrigg Hall & Gardens, Wolterton Hall, Mannington Gardens, Blickling Hall, The steam coastal railway, Fishermans heritage centre and private military museum at Sherringham.

The Broads where you can hire a boat stopping off and waterside pubs and restaurants on route and the beautiful, bustling small town of HOLT with it's designer shops and fabulous restaurants. Holt Festival is in July, The Norfolk Show is usually end of June / July and the famous Xmas show at Thursford is throughout December.

“Stunning house in a beautiful location”

Reviewed 25 Apr 2014

The Granary felt very welcoming as soon as we walked through the door. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and it was spotlessly clean. There was plenty of space for everyone (6 adults, a 15 year old and 11 year old), with the games room providing plenty of entertainment. The village was picturesque and very quiet. We visited the local pub for a drink - the nice weather meant we were able to sit outside in the beer garden and soak up the relaxing atmosphere. This was the perfect location for our family holiday and the owner was very helpful prior to our arrival.

Thank you very much for taking the time to review your stay at the Granary. I am delighted to hear that you enjoyed, not only the house and the pub, but the area also. In this busy world it is a joy to find somewhere that is quiet, but close to facilities, long may it stay that way. Thank you once again. Fiona

“Great accomodation with wow factor in lovely location - ideal for family get together”

Reviewed 16 Jun 2013

Just returned from a family get together at the Granary to celebrate our parents golden wedding anniversary and have to say what a great choice the Granary was. The booking and payment process was seamless and smooth and the landlord provided plenty of information beforehand (as well as being very flexible in turns of early check-in and late check-out). On arrival - in addition to the wow factor from just walking into and looking around the accomodation - there was a card and bottle of Cava for my parents which was a really lovely touch. The accomodation over three floors was more than big enough for the twelve of us (8 adults & 4 children) and never felt cramped even when we were all downstairs. The games room with snooker/pool table and dart board was a particular hit. The location was great - quiet pretty village, just a very short drive into Cromer, and not much further into Sheringham. Would be great for exploring north Norfolk if only we'd been able to fit in a longer stay.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at the Granary. I am so pleased you all had a good time and that we were able to help make this very special occasion. memorable.

“Fabulous house, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable!”

Reviewed 16 Aug 2011

We stayed in the Granary in June and had a wonderful holiday. The house is the cleanest holiday home I've ever stayed in and it was spacious, comfortable and very well equiped. Nearby pubs and beaches were outstanding. A really incredible holiday home that I would recommend to anyone (even friends!).
