Description from owner

Description

Relax, unwind and enjoy a peaceful break in our recently refurbished 2 bedroom traditional cottage in rural Monzie, on the edge of Monzie Castle. Our cottage is private, safe and comfortable allowing for you to swItch off and do nothing.
Every day can offer something different. Fill your time with local historic whisky distilleries and learn more about the art of his production.
The extensive views surrounding the cottage are of unspoilt fields and hills but you are close to the castle where the owners live and work, should you require any assistance. The spacious sitting room is warm and comfortable with an open fire and an endless supply of logs.

We always like to be around when guests arrive to give a tour of the cottage and answer any questions. We like to allow our guests privacy but are available if help is required.
Scotland promotes access for all to the countryside so you are free to walk cycle or ride anywhere, and we are always happy to give our recommendation

Scotland promotes access for all to the countryside so you are free to walk cycle or ride anywhere, and we are always happy to give our recommendation on places to visit. Fresh air, spectacular views from all angles. Long days in the summer, often only a few hours of complete darkness. Cosy nights and clear days in the winter. A winter wonderland in the snow.
Crieff
Please note the cottage is on a two mile private drive that does have some pot holes. The owner drives a regular 2-wheel drive car, and as long as you are careful, it is fine.

Location description from owner

The Scotland region

Crieff

Given the utterly stunning surroundings, we can see why most of our guests like to use our cottages as a base to explore the area on foot. Perthshire has a rich variety of beautiful landscapes and is home to some of the finest and accessible scenery in Scotland. There are so many walks around Perthshire too, please ask us and we will be happy to recommend a few.
Perthshire has a plentiful amount of local produce to offer. There are lots of delightful places in and around Crieff, which are a short drive from our cottage. We will be delighted to give you further information on our favourite places to eat nearby.
