Description

The Coach House

This enchanting house once stored a horse drawn cart and provided quarters for a farm servant above. We have converted it to provide cosy accommodation for two and the photographs will show you what to expect.

The downstairs comprises an open plan sitting room, dining area and fitted kitchen. There is a “Clearview” wood burning stove and the floor is Welsh Slate.

On the first floor there is a double bedroom with a separate shower room, toilet and wash hand basin.

Clothes washing and tumble drying happens in the original dairy, this outbuilding is only a short walk away.

Outside, a barbeque, table and chairs all within easy walking distance of the kitchen.

The spacious grounds surrounding The Coach House extend over 17 acres

Location description from owner

The North Wales region

The countryside of North Wales remains largely unspoiled and maintains its traditional values. Agriculture, once the main provider of employment and income has embraced the demand for visitors and the region has now become a renowned holiday destination. This area has been declared as "outstandingly beautiful" and for good reason. The mountains of Snowdonia, stunning coastline and wonderful pastoral scenery provide the holidaymaker with an endless and varied vista.

Criccieth

We are located right in the centre of the Llyn Peninsula, a short drive from the town of Criccieth. To the East is Porthmadog, West takes you to Abersoch and North to Caernarfon, Bangor and a trip over the Menai Straits to Anglesey will not be wasted.

Criccieth boasts a clean beach with views over Cardigan Bay and the Cambrian Coastline, (catch the train from Criccieth Railway Station; on a clear day, the route to Machylleth takes you right alongside this magnificent scenery)

The ancient castle sits high on its hill and is open for you to visit and you'll stand in awe as you imagine centuries old living.

Golf, Sailing, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Horse Riding, Walking, Cycling... there is an endless list of activity and attraction.

“Amazing place, fantastic home!”

Reviewed 27 Aug 2016

Wow, where to begin! The Coach House was just perfect for our 'Escape to the Country'. The location was perfect, remote but within easy reach of the beach and shops. There is so much to do in this part of Wales, the house is perfectly located for a myriad of activities. The personal touches were lovely, the house was clean and it had everything you needed. The birds spotting in the garden will keep you entertained for hours. We would recommend this holiday cottage to anyone looking to relax, explore and feel totally refreshed. Thank you, Maureen!
