“A cosey cottage setup run by welcoming and friendly owners.”

Reviewed 19 Apr 2016

The quality of the cottage and hosts contributed to a great few days in this lovely area. The owners have perfected the art of always being available, helpful and friendly without being intrusive.

So many thanks for this lovely review. It was really lovely to meet you both and I hope you come back to see us again. The weather has been glorious and we are still very b usy so the guests are really happy. The garden is being used now which I like to see and share a cuppa with the new friends we have made. Thank you again.see you soon regards Rich and Ann

“Very central for all amenities”

Reviewed 25 Sep 2014

This was a well equipped cottage set within lovely gardens. Some of the shrubs and flowers were very rare and the views were quite stunning. Of particular interest to us was the proximity of the town facilities. Everyday essentials like milk and newspapers were just a couple of minutes walk away and the station just ten minutes walk away.It was especially convenient to walk for 5 minutes to the beach and when we did forget an item it was very easy to walk back for it. We both like antiques and Criccieth has several antique shops which is certainly not true of everywhere in our experience. We are definitely considering a return next year, albeit the ground floor of the main house. Ann and Richard have devised the ideal balance ie to be available quickly to help but otherwise they leave you alone to enjoy your holiday.

Many thanks for this kind review. It was lovely to have met you both and we hope that we will see you and maybe the family as well next year. Weather is still as good now as it was when you were here. Many thanks again.

Most enjoyable stay in the cottage. Ann and her husband made us most welcome. Garden is available to use, and very pleasant in the evening sunlight sitting in the arbour. Close proximity to the beach and restaurants. We had a very relaxing stay.

Many thanks for writing this review for us, we are so glad that you enjoyed our little cottage. We hope to see you both again one day and perhaps you can teach me Tai'Chi.Many thanks again Richard and Ann

“Lovely, clean and cosy accommodation in a great location.”

The cottage is in a great location to explore many places of interest, such as the Llyn Peninsula, Caernarvon Castle and Portmeirion to name a few. It was very comfortable and warm to return to after a day out. Ann was very welcoming and we would happily choose Fir Tree Cottage if we were planning a holiday in the same area.

Thanks so much for this lovely review. We are very happy that you were pleased with Fir Tree cottage and hope that you return to see us another day. It is so central for the area and not having to take your car everyday makes it a restful holiday. Many thanks again lovely to have met you.

Everything about our stay was first class from the very warm welcome from Ann to the perfect little cottage that was exactly as described plus it was spotlessly clean. Criccieth is a lovely little place in a great location for visiting surrounding areas. Unfortunately too cold to make use of very pleasant garden area but this would be a great asset for the Summer months. Very enjoyable relaxing stay, wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thank you Ann & Richard

So enjoyed having you to stay and that you loved the cottage so much. Thanks so much and please come back to see us again. regards Ann
