The second bedroom features an ensuite shower room with a large shower cubicle and a power shower. This room has twin beds that can easily be made into a zip-link King size bed. Both bedrooms have French doors out to the garden and take in the stunning views. Both en-suite bathrooms have heated tiled floors.

The spacious and bright open plan first floor consists of a neatly fitted and well equipped galley style kitchen, dining room and sitting room with French doors to the large balcony. The furniture comprises a three seater sofa, which can be converted into a full double sofa bed, a two seater sofa and two easy chairs. There is a gas fire in the corner of the living room, a TV with Sky freesat, integrated DVD player and stereo system with MP3 and ipod connection. A selection of books, DVDs, audio cds and games are supplied. Wifi is available and the oak dining table allows for six spacious settings. The kitchen has a good range of quality cookware, basic supplies and is well stocked for children.

The gardens are laid out over a number of levels with gently sloping gradients. They feature productive fruit trees, ornamental trees, numerous shrubs and border plants and extensive bulb plantings. Turning, car parking and standing area for around 4 cars are to the side of the house.

“Great Location”

Reviewed 27 Nov 2012

Wonderful location overlooking Loch-well equipped every need covered nice touch with the welcome pack -homemade shortbread lovely. Cottage needs a general makeover -looking tired in exterior decor and hard to reach interior.

Sorry to hear you feel the cottage needs a makeover. The stone exterior cannot be modified and we recently decorated the interior, including those hard to reach high sections in the lounge/dining area.

Fabulous location with stunning panoramic views .Even the bedrooms (located downstairs) had superb views. Very warm during our long weekend as it is well insulated and well heated. Very well equipped and definitely worth a return trip.

We are really glad you enjoyed your break at Tigh Ban Lek.

“Fantastic House, good location and perfect peace and quiet”

Reviewed 8 Oct 2012

Stayed at Tigh Ban Lek for a few days as a short break to get away from things. It was great. The house had everything we needed and was in a great setting - the views are just amazing and it was so quiet. Travelled a fair amount in Scotland and this was one of the best places we've ever stayed, definitely highly recommended!

Thank you very much for your review, glad you enjoyed your time at Tigh Ban Lek
