Crantock View has a fitted, well equipped kitchen, sitting room with open fire and a separate dining room. The kitchen comes with hob, fitted oven, microwave, dishwasher and plenty of equipment for a self catering holiday.

Downstairs there is a shower room with a generously sized shower tray complete with powerful shower and a separate bathroom with toilet, vanity sink and bath with a shower over the top.

For that extra touch of cosiness, there is an open fire in the sitting room. There is gas central heating to keep you warm on those winter evenings. There is a TV, complete with Freeview and a DVD player. There are small flat screen TVs in each of the double bedrooms.

Upstairs, there are three bedrooms. Two are double bedrooms (150cm/5' beds) and one single room (90cm/3' bed) which has a a roll-under available here suitable for a small child. Crantock View is ideal for two couples sharing or family groups . Both bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe and storage space along with bedside tables and lamps. The extra large chest of drawers in each room make ideal changing areas for small babies.

Crantock View has its own enclosed rear garden with a fabulous decked area at the bottom, to make the most of the sun in the garden and an ideal space to sit and gaze at the open view down to the Village.

In addition there is a covered terrace to the rear of the cottage accessed by the rear door just off the kitchen and hallway.

The start date and end date of holidays (change over day) is fixed and cannot be changed. Short breaks can start on a different day but must start and end within the booking week. Please note we do not start holidays at any other date than the displayed start date.


From September to May cottages are charged at a base rate for the minimum number of guests as stated in the pricing tab. Additional guests may be added as shown in the pricing tab. Not available during Christmas, New Year and February Half Term.


Short Breaks of 4 nights or less are between November and Easter, excluding school holidays, at a discount of 10% off the full week price. Not available during Christmas, New Year and February Half Term. Please note: we do not offer short break discounts at other times.


In cottages where dogs are allowed, they are charged at £40 each. A refundable occupancy deposit may be payable on arrival to the Property Manager. We do not allow more than 2 dogs in any of our properties.


At least half of your party must be over 23 to book one of our cottages.

Ten minutes walk away is Crantock's sandy beach which is suitable for families and surfers alike. Five minutes walk away are two pubs, a Londis grocery store, Post Office, art gallery and the church of St Carantock.

The cottage has its own enclosed patio and garden with barbeque and table for six. The garden is laid mainly to shrubs and lawn with a large decked area. There is off-road parking for one car.

Crantock View is in close proximity to all our Crantock Village cottages, making it ideal for booking as part of a larger group.

Crantock is a picturesque village of historical note, on the North coast of Cornwall with one of the best beaches in the area. It has an ancient church, two pubs a tea rooms, an art gallery, gift shop and a village store.

It is only five miles from Newquay, but a world apart. It is popular with families in the summer and people who wish to surf, walk and enjoy all Cornwall has to offer all year round.

Crantock is the site of an altogether much older settlement - Langurroc, which means the 'dwelling of the monks'. The village gets it name from the Celtic Saint Caranog, who is also known as Carantoc. It is suggested that Crantock was founded by St.Carantacus in the 5th century, who was the son of a Welsh chieftain, and established his church. The present church is reputed to be built upon the same site.

Crantock and Polly Joke beaches

Crantock Beach is a great beach for families and surfers alike. It has a wide sandy beach with sand dunes between the beach and the village. At low tide you can walk along the beach to West Pentire.

Crantock has two pubs, the Cornishman and The Old Albion Inn, which are a short walk from the properties in Crantock Village. The Bowgie Inn, in West Pentire, is a short walk from Cormorant, Guillemot and Kittiwake. In Cubert, 2 miles from Crantock, the Smugglers Den, has a reputation for good food and wine.

Newquay, Shopping and a Big Supermarket

There is a large Safeway supermarket about 5 minutes drive out of the village towards Newquay. Crantock is about 5 miles south of Newquay, which in the summer is a bustling holiday resort with shops, many clubs and pubs. There is a regular bus service to Newquay and taxis can be booked.

In Crantock there is a village store that provides many of a holiday makers essential needs.

"absolutely fabulous !!"

about one mile from the best beach in England. two great pubs each do good food and a shop that sells all sorts. great location for some excellent walks. we did Perranporth,Polly Joke,New Quay and Pentire via the coast.The cottage was equipped with everything we needed. even a summer house for when the nights were a bit nippy. The garden was great for the dog all round it was excellent. can't fault it !! loved it that much we have rebooked.
