The Barn is a conversion of a farm building into a luxury self catering cottage, located in the centre of picturesque Crantock village, on the north coast of Cornwall a short walk to Crantock beach and the sea. This luxury self catering cottage by the sea, is within the curtilage of The Orchard but has its own entrance, parking and outside space.
The Barn has central heating, a washing machine, fitted galley kitchen.
The bedroom has a king sized bed and plenty of space too. The ensuite shower room is very well appointed.
This cottage is all on one level making it ideal for those who prefer not to go upstairs or with restricted mobility.

3. CHANGE OVER DATE
The start date and end date of holidays (change over day) is fixed and cannot be changed. Short breaks can start on a different day but must start and end within the booking week. Please note we do not start holidays at any other date than the displayed start date.
4. REDUCED OCCUPANCY DISCOUNTS
From September to May cottages are charged at a base rate for the minimum number of guests as stated in the pricing tab. Additional guests may be added as shown in the pricing tab. Not available during Christmas, New Year and February Half Term.
5. SHORT BREAK DISCOUNTS
Short Breaks of 4 nights or less are between November and Easter, excluding school holidays, at a discount of 10% off the full week price. Not available during Christmas, New Year and February Half Term. Please note: we do not offer short break discounts at other times.
In cottages where dogs are allowed, they are charged at £40 each. A refundable occupancy deposit may be payable on arrival to the Property Manager. We do not allow more than 2 dogs in any of our properties.
7. MINIMUM AGE
At least half of your party must be over 23 to book one of our cottages.

The front door opens into the light and airy kitchen/living room which is furnished with a comfortable sofa and two armchairs. A dining table & chairs for four, flat screen TV, DVD & HiFi. The kitchen is fitted with stainless steel appliances and comes complete with a gas hob, double fitted oven, fridge with freezer box and washing machine. The shower room, on the ground floor, has tiled flooring and a generously sized shower. There is night storage heating.
The bedroom to the rear of The Barn has a king sized double bed with plenty of storage and space.
There is off street parking for one car and a patio garden which is enclosed.

Outside there is a private, enclosed seating area ideal for outside dining or just sitting and relaxing. One car can be parked right next to the cottage.
Dogs are welcome to stay in The Barn, up to a maximum of two small dogs at a weekly cost of £40 each. A travel cot and high can be provided for guests.

Crantock Beach is a great beach for families and surfers alike. It has a wide sandy beach with sand dunes between the beach and the village. At low tide you can walk along the beach to West Pentire.
A really popular beach for surfing, fishing and sand castles!
Pubs and Eating
Crantock has two pubs, the Cornishman and The Old Albion Inn, which are a short walk from the properties in Crantock Village. The Bowgie Inn, in West Pentire, is a short walk from Cormorant, Guillemot and Kittiwake. In Cubert, 2 miles from Crantock, the Smugglers Den, has a reputation for good food and wine.
