Sliding doors lead to the patio at the rear where the barbeque and outside dining table and chairs can be found. The garden is split level, at the higher level there is a lawned area with shrubbery. Rosemaddon is centrally located in Crantock Village, just a five minute walk from its expansive beach which is great for surfing. Dogs are allowed on Crantock Beach all year round.

Location description from manager

The England region

Cornwall is full of places to feed your soul and put colour in your cheeks. Whatever the weather, a bracing walk along the cliffs or watching the waves will make you feel good about life. It stays daylight longer in Cornwall than the rest of the country and the winter light is spectacular by the coast – it has helped to create the thriving Cornish artist community. The county is oozing with creativity, with a huge choice of art and craft galleries, plenty of live music and an exciting programme at Truro's Hall for Cornwall.

Famous for its gardens, Cornwall has many to choose from: the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the National Trust's Trelissick on the shores of the River Fal and Glendurgan on the picturesque Helford River, to name but a fe

Crantock

Crantock is a picturesque village of historical note, on the North coast of Cornwall with one of the best beaches in the area. It has an ancient church, two pubs a tea rooms, an art gallery, gift shop and a village store. It is only five miles from Newquay, but a world apart. It is popular with families in the summer and people who wish to surf, walk and enjoy all Cornwall has to offer all year round.

And, of course, our beaches: Crantock Beach and Polly Joke Beach. These offer surf kiting, kayaking, surfing or just enjoy the view!

“Travelled June 2010”

Reviewed 17 Jun 2013

We stayed at Rosemadden in June 2010 with our daughter, husband and her two children. We had previously stayed at Cobb Barn which was lovely but needed a bigger property this time. Rosemadden is amazing from the moment we stepped into the entrance porch and went through into the galleried living room. The house was spotless, the furniture and fittings first class. We liked the fact that we had what was really our own self contained wing of the house and our daughter and her family had their own.
