Come and stay in the tranquil village of Crantock, in a spacious homely house with a huge child friendly garden and only a 10 minute walk away from a beautiful long sandy beach and the River Gannel. Crantock village itself has a well stocked village shop (1 minute walk) including freshly baked rolls, croissants and traditional Cornish pasties; a Post Office service is offered too. There is also a pleasant cafe in the heart of the village. There are 2 public houses in the heart of the village (2 minute walk) and another a mile away which overlooks the stunning Crantock Bay. Crantock Corner provides everything needed for a great holiday; fabulous accommodation, huge grassed garden and fantastic location.Crantock Corner itself is an extremely well presented family house and comfortably caters for 8 people. It also features a well equipped fitted kitchen containing a brown leather chaise lounge situated next to a large window to offer great views over-looking the village. The dining area comprises an 8 seat extendable oak table and a beautiful art deco open fire. The utility room is a perfect sleeping area for pets and it is adjacent to the downstairs bathroom. All the village pubs serve good food and local real ales and cider. Newquay is accessible by foot, bus or car and offers most amenities expected of a small seaside town such as surf shops, supermarkets, lively pubs, restaurants for every palate and recently a cinema. The cathedral city of Truro and the unique Eden Project (with indoor rainforest) are approximately 30 minutes away by car.In summary; spacious, tasteful, clean accommodation with 3 seated areas. Outside is a huge enclosed garden with patios; round wicker table and chairs and other seating areas.

Bedroom 1 - loft room with amazing views of the sea and the village, a king size bed and blackout blinds. Bedroom 2 - twin room (two single beds) Bedroom 3 - single bed with full size pull out bed underneath (can be used as a twin) Bedroom 4 - master room, king size bed with views front and back, ensuite Jack and Jill style* Bedroom 5 - single bed *A bathroom with two doors, therefore making it available to the master bedroom and all rooms on first and second floor.

Access to the huge secure garden is to the side of the house. At the bottom of the garden there is a large patio area with table, chairs and a large parasol; a gas and a charcoal barbeque are provided for your use (gas is provided). There is also another table on a hard standing close to the patio doors. The rest of the garden is mainly grassed with an exotic border of plants. There is a small fish pond with waterfall, which is permanently covered with a heavy gauge mesh. Parking is limited in Crantock but Crantock Corner has parking for two cars. Parking for more cars is available at the village hall car park which, conveniently, is just 50 metres away from the house. There is a small charge (£1 per day per car) for the extra parking and all funds go to the village.

CRANTOCK is a beautifully quaint Cornish village, close to the bustling town of Newquay on the granite cliffed north coast of mid-Cornwall. The small village lies to the south of the River Gannel with the river also acting as a natural boundary between the parishes of Newquay and Crantock. The village has 2 family orientated public houses, a Post Office and village shop. It also has a vast and beautiful beach for you to explore.
There are many other golden sandy beaches to discover such as Polly Joke, Holywell Bay, Perranporth and Watergate bay. Newquay has several beaches too to suit everyone.

Down in the centre of town, the Pannier Market is the largest of Truro’s indoor markets and offers a huge range of goods, with something of interest for every shopper.
PADSTOW is a traditional Cornish fishing village that has become world famous for it's dining experience's. Visit and explore the busy fishing harbour, walk the side streets and shops before treating yourself to a cream tea or eating in style at one of Padstow's fine seafood restaurants. This village has been made famous by Rick Stein's various eating establishments, but there are plenty of other fine restaurants to dine at.
There are plenty of family attractions within easy reach from Crantock; one of the most visited and unique is the EDEN PROJECT: a series of biomes housing vegetation from areas such as the tropics and the mediterranean. There are adventure parks such as CREALY and FLAMBARDS. DAIRYLAND is a farm based park and there is also a delightful zoo in Newquay. In Newquay there is also a indoor swimming pool at Waterworld and a water park at one of the local caravan sites.

“Amazing place, fabulous holiday.”
Crantock Corner was a great place to stay everything we needed for a 2 week stay with all the family young and old. Close to the beach, pubs, cafe, local shop and a short drive away from many interesting and beautiful places. We all absolutely loved it, big enough to keep out of each others way , a great garden for games or just to relax, brill kitchen and we could all get together around the table and dine or game. Wish I was still there.
“Great comfortable place for a holiday close to the coast”
We stayed for 9 days with our friends and family, space for all, comfortable, no fights over the two bathrooms. The house was delightfully clean on arrival, beds made, tea and milk, flowers on table - such a welcome. Kitchen a squeeze if all want to cook and help but lovely views of the fields, horses and rabbits. Location perfect, close to beach, shop and pubs.
“Fantastic house & Location”
The house was more than I expected, had everything you required and more. Plenty of room for all 3 families that went on the weeks holiday. We had a 5 & 2 year old too and they loved it. The garden was plenty big enough too for all of us to have space if needed. The fish pond was well secured too so that little ones could fall in but they could see the fish. Overall a lovely place to stay with excellent views and not too far from the beach. I think we walked it in 10-15 mins with children and beach equipment.

Didn't want to go home!! A wonderful cottage, in a brilliant and beautiful location. We had a good couple of days out, (Eden Project, St Michael's Mount etc) and even 3 days on the stunning beach; we all tried body boarding for the first time, and loved it!!! Crantock Corner is a brilliantly equipped cottage - a real home from home....... Thank you and we hope to be back!!!!!!
