Grade II listed two bedroom barn conversion, in the centre of picturesque Crantock village on the north coast of Cornwall. The Barn sleeps four.

Apple Barn is a Grade II listed barn conversion right in the centre of Crantock village. The barn has has a light, bright modern decor offering a homely, cottage feel. The open plan, tiled living area makes it a perfect summer cottage for families wanting to come back from the beach, jump straight in the shower and be able to keep mess to a minimum. However if a winter break is more what you are looking for, the log burner in the sitting area is perfect for curling up in front of adding a real ambience to the barn.

5. SHORT BREAK DISCOUNTS

Short Breaks of 4 nights or less are between November and Easter, excluding school holidays, at a discount of 10% off the full week price. Not available during Christmas, New Year and February Half Term.

Crantock

Newquay enjoys an amazing position on the north coast and has a wonderful selection of beaches for you to visit during your stay. Crantock, is situated at the end of the run of beaches on this stunning rugged slice of North Cornwall. Crantock still retains an endearing, old fashioned and unspoilt quality.

In the centre of the village and within a few minutes walk of all of our cottages is a well stocked shop and a couple of pubs. Crantock's huge beach offers the opportunity for adults and children alike to blow away the cobwebs; children love to explore the dunes and the River Gannel at low tide. And you don't even have to take the car out to go to the beach.

For those keen to travel further afield, Crantock is very conveniently located for all of Cornwall's attractions. Newquay is only five miles away and a pretty drive, just a little further away is Padstow, made famous by Rick Stein. The Eden Project and St Ives are also about a 40 minute journey (although in opposite directions!) and make for a lovely day out. Crantock's wide sandy beach is ideal for walkers, surfers, sand castle building, dune racing and it is even dog friendly.

“First of many stays to these properties”

We stayed at Cobb Barn in June 2007 (yes I know a long time ago) however at that time we were not on trip advisor. This was our first of four trips (so far) to the Cornwall Holiday Cottages. We were amazed the property was lovely, excellent standard of furniture and fittings, spotlessly clean and everything was there that you could possibly want. It was also our first visit to Crantock, how we have previously missed it I do not know. What a lovely village, with a post office cum general store, two pubs and a lovely little tea room that turns into a bistro at night.
