From Guillemot, a 2 minute walk takes you directly onto the South West Coastal Path with fabulous headland walks.

The accommodation comprises a fully equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher) opening onto a sitting and dining area with TV/DVD and Hi-Fi system. There is one double bedroom (150cm/5' bed) and a twin bedroom (90cm/3' beds) with hand built oak furniture comprising of a wardrobe with shelves and hanging space, a dressing table and stool. The shower room has a powerful shower, basin and toilet. Superfast Broadband.

There is LPG gas central heating to all rooms. Outside, there is a patio with a great sea view and private off road parking for 1 car.

Guillemot is all on one level.

3. CHANGE OVER DATE

The start date and end date of holidays (change over day) is fixed and cannot be changed. Short breaks can start on a different day but must start and end within the booking week. Please note we do not start holidays at any other date than the displayed start date.

4. REDUCED OCCUPANCY DISCOUNTS

From September to May cottages are charged at a base rate for the minimum number of guests as stated in the pricing tab. Additional guests may be added as shown in the pricing tab. Not available during Christmas, New Year and February Half Term.

5. SHORT BREAK DISCOUNTS

Short Breaks of 4 nights or less are between November and Easter, excluding school holidays, at a discount of 10% off the full week price. Not available during Christmas, New Year and February Half Term. Please note: we do not offer short break discounts at other times.

6. DOGS

In cottages where dogs are allowed, they are charged at £40 each. A refundable occupancy deposit may be payable on arrival to the Property Manager. We do not allow more than 2 dogs in any of our properties.

7. MINIMUM AGE

At least half of your party must be over 23 to book one of our cottages.

Electricity is included, gas powered hot water and central heating is by meter payable at the end of your stay. There is a generous weekly allowance before guests have to pay. There is outside storage (not locked) for Guillemot guests to store bikes, surf boards etc. Whilst Guillemot is all on one level and suitable for guests with some restriction to their mobility, please note that this property is not suitable for wheelchair bounds guests (doors are standard sized) and there are no handles or grab rails in the shower or shower room.

Seaspray is a single building comprising Cormorant (Holiday Letting number 1444683), Guillemot and Kittiwake(144687). They share parking spaces at front and rear and all share the wonderful views of Crantock Bay. Kittiwake is to the rear. Five minutes walk away is Crantock's sandy beach which is suitable for families and surfers alike. A few minutes walk away is a pub. Crantock Village is five minutes drive, where there are two pubs, a Londis grocery store, Post Office, art gallery and the church of St Carantock.

Located in the far west of Great Britain on a peninsula tumbling into the vast Atlantic Ocean, Cornwall is the only county in England bordered by just one other county, its neighbour Devon. So being almost surrounded by the sea, a magnificent coastline wraps around the county for almost 300 miles.

Crantock

Crantock is a picturesque village of historical note, on the North coast of Cornwall with one of the best beaches in the area. It has an ancient church, two pubs a tea rooms, an art gallery, gift shop and a village store.

It is only five miles from Newquay, but a world apart. It is popular with families in the summer and people who wish to surf, walk and enjoy all Cornwall has to offer all year round. Crantock Beach is a great beach for families and surfers alike. It has a wide sandy beach with sand dunes between the beach and the village. At low tide you can walk along the beach to West Pentire.

From our delightful luxury self catering cottages, it is possible to walk to the beach in less than 5 minutes if you stay in the village and in under 10 minutes when staying just out of the village. Crantock Beach is ideal for rock pooling, surfing, swimming or just relaxing. There is a beach cafe for snacks. Surf equipment, deck chairs and wind breaks can be hired on the beach.Polly Joke beach is the next beach around the coast going west. It has been described as one of the best beaches in Cornwall. It has to be walked to, making it less busy than other beaches in Summer.

Crantock has two pubs, the Cornishman and The Old Albion Inn, which are a short walk from the properties in Crantock Village. The Bowgie Inn, at West Pentire, is a short walk. In Cubert, 2 miles from Crantock, the Smugglers Den, has a reputation for good food and wine. There are many high quality restaurants nearby such as Odds. If you wish to travel further afield Pats Cabs in Crantock can be relied on for transport. There are many walks in, around and near Crantock, including the South West Coastal Path, which passes by the Village and can be reached on foot from all our cottages.

“Guillemot Cottage,Crantock - Fantastic Place”

Just had a wonderful week here.Took my Mother for her 90th birthday. Great for young and old alike also for touring local places, Newquay/Perranporth/Polly Joke all close by. Lovely coastal walks and wonderful scenery. The property is first class, absolutely spotlessly clean and homely. Just sank into the wonderfully comfortable beds.Great views of the sea. Nothing too much trouble.
