The hand build oak kitchen is fitted with stainless steel appliances and provides all modern conveniences including microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, double oven and extra wide hob. In the kitchen/dining area as well as a stylish dining table and chairs, there is a log burning stove – ideal for those cosy nights in.

A spacious living room complete with plenty of comfy seating leads to the courtyard garden and also allows access to the 3 bedrooms.

Bedroom 1 can either be arranged as a 6' double, or 2 x 3' twin beds. This room is elegantly furnished with an armoire, dressing table and bedside table with lamps. The large walk in shower room has a slate floor and walls with a power shower.

Bedroom 2 has a 4'6” bed and is furnished with a chest of drawers and bedside tables. The en-suite shower room has a spacious shower enclosure and again, the shower room is has a slate floor and wall tiling. Bedroom 2 is a beautifully light room with an arched window

There is a bench conveniently located just outside the french doors, ideal for your early morning cup of tea. There is no wardrobe in this bedroom, but there a large chest of drawers and a peg rail with hangers.

Stairs go up to a landing where a second seating area can be found. Doors lead to a bathroom and Bedroom 3 has a 6' super king bed, and, can be arranged as 2 x 3' singles. There is a sofa on this landing and a TV which provides an ideal arrangement for somewhere quiet for Grandad or the children to watch TV. There is a Velux window here allowing rural views to fields. (There are usually horses in these fields).

Bedroom 3 is in the eaves of the building, but only the very tall may suffer height restrictions. The beds can either be arranged as a 6' double, or 2 x 3' twin beds. This room is furnished with a fitted wardrobe, dressing table and bedside tables with lamps. A Velux window here allows rural views to fields

On the opposite side of the landing is a full bathroom comprising a fitted bath with hand held shower attachment, and a spacious separate shower cubicle. You can lie in the bath and enjoy the rural view from the Velux window and relax!

3. CHANGE OVER DATE

The start date and end date of holidays (change over day) is fixed and cannot be changed. Short breaks can start on a different day but must start and end within the booking week. Please note we do not start holidays at any other date than the displayed start date.

4. REDUCED OCCUPANCY DISCOUNTS

From September to May cottages are charged at a base rate for the minimum number of guests as stated in the pricing tab. Additional guests may be added as shown in the pricing tab. Not available during Christmas, New Year and February Half Term.

5. SHORT BREAK DISCOUNTS

Short Breaks of 4 nights or less are between November and Easter, excluding school holidays, at a discount of 10% off the full week price. Not available during Christmas, New Year and February Half Term. Please note: we do not offer short break discounts at other times.

6. DOGS

In cottages where dogs are allowed, they are charged at £40 each. A refundable occupancy deposit may be payable on arrival to the Property Manager. We do not allow more than 2 dogs in any of our properties.

7. MINIMUM AGE

At least half of your party must be over 23 to book one of our cottages.

With the longest stretch of continuous coastline in Britain, you’ll discover tiny Cornish fishing villages, smuggler’s coves, countless spectacular beaches and sweeping bays, dramatic cliffs and coastlines, plus beautiful moorland and countryside. Located in the far west of Great Britain on a peninsula tumbling into the vast Atlantic Ocean, Cornwall is the only county in England bordered by just one other county, its neighbour Devon. So being almost surrounded by the sea, a magnificent coastline wraps around the county for almost 300 miles.

Crantock

Crantock is a picturesque village of historical note, on the North coast of Cornwall with one of the best beaches in the area. It has an ancient church, two pubs a tea rooms, an art gallery, gift shop and a village store. It is only five miles from Newquay, but a world apart. It is popular with families in the summer and people who wish to surf, walk and enjoy all Cornwall has to offer all year round.

Crantock and Polly Joke beaches:

Crantock Beach is a great beach for families and surfers alike. It is a wide sandy beach with sand dunes between the beach and the village. At low tide you can walk along the beach to West Pentire.

Polly Joke beach is the next beach around the coast going west.
