The apartment directly overlooks Crail harbour with views of the harbour, sea and Isle of May from living room, sitting room and bathroom windows.

.A beautifully presented first floor (up one flight of stairs) apartment in a late 17thC listed building. Fully equipped, as a home from home, with 2 bedrooms (one double,one single).

Ideal for couples, a couple with a child, golfers, and walkers

On Street car parking by apartment - no yellow lines!

This apartment must have one of the best harbour and sea views in Crail. If you are lucky, you may see a pod of dolphins close inshore in high summer, as we have on several occasions. The Fife Coastal Path passes just in front of the apartment building.

Crail harbour beach is two minutes walk from the apartment, down the 'Hens Ladder' path. It's tempting to take a picnic and have a lazy day on the sandy harbour beach.

Only fifteen minutes drive from St Andrews and an hour and a half from Edinburgh, Crail makes a great base for a holiday or short break. There are several major golf courses are in the area, St Andrews, Kingsbarns and of course Crail's own 'Golfing Society' with two courses.

Crail has a Festival during the last fortnight of July with many events and activities for both adults and children.

The East Neuk Festival, a music festival in late June, has many performances held in Crail.

The apartment comprises:

The kitchen is fully fitted with Halogen Electric hob, oven, toaster, Dishwasher, Fridge - Freezer, Microwave, and combined Washer/ Dryer.

Sitting room - TV with Freeview and BD/DVD player.

The BD/DVD player has 'Smart TV', giving internet access to BBC IPlayer, ITV, 4OD, Demand5 and other 'catch up' services. It also has Netflix (your own account sign in is required)

Crail has its own pub, (cash machine), two small well stocked supermarkets, green grocers, bakers, high quality butchers, pharmacy, fish and chip shop and coffee shops all within 500m

There are free Public tennis courts in Crail as well as play parks and a skate board park.

N.B. This is a 'No Smoking' and 'No pets' apartment.

We were the first to visit after the lockdown . What a wonderful surprise- we found ourselves in the perfect flat overlooking Crail Harbour . The flat had everything you needed and a very generous hospitality tray and very comfy beds . Lovely art on the walls painted by one of the owners . Crail itself is charming with a great selection of little shops , one where you can but fresh lobster and it’s own ice cream shop . Lovely walk to Anstruther along coast from our perfect location . Highly recommend it

The owners did all they could to ensure a nice stay. We would certainly recommend it to anyone. The only issue is eating out; driving to St Andrews is the best option, if you want a good restaurant.

Owner's reply: Many thanks for your kind review of the apartment. For another visit or for the information of others considering Crail. In addition to St Andrews' many restaurants, Crail has two pub restaurants. Anstruther also has a full range of restaurants, fish and chips, pubs and Indian as well as the 'Cellar' which has one Michelin star. In addition a second Michelin, one star, restaurant is within 12 miles at the Peat Inn. Regards Frank

Lovely comfortable flat - it has everything you need and more. Great views of Crail harbour and across to the Isle of May. Would definitely recommend it as a base for exploring Fife and the excellent coastal paths.
